Your base is backwards. :( Your right side should be the front. I don't know how to explain it, but it's backwards. Still turned out beautifully, though! :)

I honestly store the brad pieces in \ziploc bags with the top of the packaging - nothing exciting but it works well!

I think the key is to put de right amount of crisco... It was never working for me until I experimented with different amount of crisco and it is working perfectly! Good luck. I never even touch the presssure and speed.

I had high hopes for this kit, but was greatly disappointed. The circle borders didn't stamp well at all (yours look much better than mine, might be the ink), and I also had a very difficult time with the smallest letters staying in the circle (I wanted to make an address label). I found them hard to tear apart and not the quality you'd expect from Martha. I took mine back. I'm a young-ish person and I could see the small letters posing a problem for older hands and eyes.
