I didn't take any Axis weapons because I wanted to showcase Allied weapons/units. If I had taken Axis weapons I would have hit POP Cap and wouldn't have been able to build more units...

I played this campaign on the release version of the game. Since then they've made some changes. From the 4th December 2023 Patch notes (Steel Shepherd): "Our team has made exciting updates to the Italian Dynamic Campaign! We've revamped the first mission, Gela, and the Campaign Map tutorial, Calabria, to give new players a better head start. I left mid flag to let the game drag on. It provides for good (late game) gameplay that I feel you won't see in other COH3 RUclips vids. I try to reasonably drag these games on so that viewers get to see all the units in plenty of action.

It doesn't, the North Africa Campaign is only with the Deutscheus Afrikacorps up until "1st July 1942". Rommel was defeated in October 1942 during the second battle of El Alamein when Montgomery arrived and then the US forces landed in November 1942 where they pushed the axis out of Africa by May 1943. There could therefore be a second North Africa Campaign from the Alied perspective through a DLC, but I highly doubt it considering the way the campaign ended.

It's still early days, it will take time for the game to be at a more stable state with good content and features. No excuse for a lack of on release, but thats just how video games are these days. COH3 on release and at this point in its lifecycle is far better than COH2 was on release. Design wise, it does take a while to adjust to the changes made for COH3 but once you do you realise how its better overall and a step up.

I've never really been a fan of Men of War, not really for me. Jagged Alliance 3 looks amazing I'll definately consider a walkthrough. I'm also looking forward to Alien: Dark Decent.

Yes, definitely bugged. I've tried to "draw" the sniper out in different ways but the sniper never appears.

The road got blocked by the Artillary emplacement I built so the pathing went all the way round XD. 34:51 I try to build the emplacement in other locations but the game wouldn't allow. Def a bug with the emplacements I'm sure.

12:23 aswell. Rifles took some losses to Annie. 14:24 I lost an engineer squad aswell. They got vapourised.

But you played that very well!

Whats annoying is that it says early on in the campaign that once you have captured a territory, any enemy emplacements in the newly occupied region would get destroyed as they run out of supply. BUT this mechanic i'm sure is bugged. As a result, you'll notice I have ignored alot of enemy emplacements hoping that they'll run out of supply eventually. I didn't want to waste resources on bombarding those emplacements... Also, I felt that the emplacements are not really any threat at all. The devs need to tweak this since in many instances I could just face tank the damage and easily heal my company once passing the emplacement. The enemy howi emplacements also are bugged and never attack your companies.

One issue with the campaign is that the skirmishes are too short and easy. The AI needs tweaking by the devs. I had little incentive to have access to the BlackPrince because I knew I would never have time during a skirmish to even call it in, light vehicles are enough to win the fight. Pop cap is very limiting in campaign missions aswell. It makes the skill points that effect real time gameplay seem pointless, I definately felt that during the campaign.

I had reached my pop cap and wanted to keep my units at full health. Wouldn't have been possible if I had taken the halftrack. Plus, it's horribly bugged in this mission. When you crew it, it's recrewed with enemy faction models and voice lines. Takes away immersion for me so I avoid crewing its until it's fixed. I thought the Croc was enough firepower also. This mission can be done with the Croc and 1 engineer squad.
