Id like to know who the promoter is for the band? I worked with a few indie bands in Manchester UK in the 1990s -2000s probably before most of this band was born, and I was surprised at the paltry 6.47K subs! I was expecting more than from past two years! But the 43,000 views of this track is very decent. They need a good energetic gig promoter who really believes in them, and a social media promoter to turn views into subs, and that's just for starters! Sometimes you just have to rely on friends and family to help out with roles until you get a decent record deal. As ACDC said for the title one of their early classic brilliant tracks "It's a Long Way To The Top if you wanna ROCK N ROLL"! That video is legendary for getting attention and creating a buzz! Almost every band from the UK has copied them by doing an outdoor gig, or on a roof top or something! U2, Simple Minds, Depeche Mode Coldplay, they all followed the ACDC promotional playbook in America! It's why American bands can struggle in the UK, they follow the American promotional model of thinking more money equals success, but in fact it's the opposite here, it works for silly pop stars because the promotion is aimed at kids and tweeners for Taylor Swift n Katy Perry etc. But for real bands the opposite is true! UK fans of REAL bands usually prefer American bands that don't make a big fuss coming over to London, they just turn up and start doing gigs low key in small venues for real music fans, as Hendrix did in London......it creates that cool underground word of mouth buzz, especially now as with social media one great small intimate gig for an American band in London is way cooler and then the fans do the rest. Great track! Best I've heard from band so far, but it's only 2nd track I've heard!! Suited Kalas voice much better, and brilliantly filmed and directed video!! Work of Art far as I'm concerned!! Loved the original jerky flicker shots! Never seen that before!! And I'm music video afficianado! My Creative advice, stick to this type of music.....it's rock but not standard heavy or rhythmically bland, there a lot of musical complexity here for such a young band, with a lot of other sound influences in my mind but I couldn't quite figure out from where or why? Which is a good thing! Means the sound is hard to exactly pin down as something or someone else!..its a great sound, suits her vocal register fr me, I really liked the maturity of Kalas singing style on this, had a very composed and kinda rock soul diva thing going on, hit her vocal sweet spot for me! It was like watching a film noir actress who just happened to be casually rocking out while relaxing with friends in a bohemian warehouse before a night out! Her singing style seemed very relaxed and confident on this one, laid back and almost conversational like an scene from an Avante Guarde film. I had thoughts of early Blondie when they were starting out at Hee Bee Jeebies in the 70s, or whatever that club was called! Very chic n very cool Ms K! I even liked the guitar solo, which is rare for me as I find them a bit predictable, passe and pastiche, but This certainly one wasn't! Even The bass player stood out and had her moment on track and in video! Nice work Director, inclusivity is important for a band! Some directors over focus on the singer, which can get boring as a band is whole creative unified force film of many parts equally valuable. I'd stick with the video Director, He seems to understand the tone and style of the band for me! But its always to experiment and change things up to to fuel the creative process!!This was much more polished than the first track I heard, which sounded like funk!?? I guess they gotta figure the band and sound out n that can take a lot of tracks n experience to hone in on! But I really enjoyed this all round! I'll definitely listen to it a few more times over the next few weeks I'm sure! This is the type of young upcoming band Id love to find and film myself in London UK, but I can't find the right one! I intend doing what Warhol did for The Velvet Underground, and to be honest, this band has a bit of that indie type cool factor to! I may even become a fan and promote them about inondon a bit.omdon is where Jimmy Hendrix really became famous!! America wasn't that keen on him after the Monterey Festival and his career had stalled badly in America, but Eric Clapton brought him to London and said he was the best guitarist he'd ever seen! Hendrix became a sensation in London.....then America decided he really was THAT was good after all! You're Welcome America! 😂🙏👍👏

It was a shame Kala didn't capitalize on her fame from 46&2. She's very talented. I also wish she would have stayed in the heavy rock realm--just my opinion. I'm for sure not a fan of her whole piercing / tattoo look--again just my preference. I guess I'm disappointed that she didn't achieve the stardom i felt she had the pure talent for. Her voice is great.
