I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing your vlogs. 💓🙏 I really hope you’re feeling fantastic now. I had surgery recently and was so glad to have watching for vlog to prepare. My surgeon was great but offered no advice on how to prepare and not much on what to expect. 😬 I had no loose clothes or nightgowns in my wardrobe! All the tips on buying comfy clothes, upsized comfy undies, heating pad, etc helped so much. Kmart for the win - to buy cosy and cheap lounge wear. Thank you!! 🙏
Very concise and precise. Your account is the best by far. We thank God they diagnosed and hope it’s been sorted out. It’s just a lot of crazy pain.
I was a endometriosis sufferer for more than 20 years. I tried birth control pills, injections and 3 laparoscopies. After none of those helping and tremendous pain, I made the decision to have a total hysterectomy including both ovaries. Best decision ever. It’s so nice to live day by day pain free.
Why are you crying tho??
I am currently pregnant with endo as well, and some women have mentioned the pains do still feel like endo flare ups. Going into this journey, i was completely unaware of how endo will effect my pregnancy, for me that is the difficult part.
How long after your surgery did you try to conceive again? How long was the recovery? I just heard I might have endometriosis since I have 2 complex cysts on my ovaries 😞
Wishing you the best! And hoping you are succeful in conceiving!
Thank you so much for sharing, I’ve been searching for some info because I am recently deciding whether I should go for surgery
Can you pleaaaaaaasss make an update video of your endo symptoms after nearly one year? thanks
Can I ask about being diagnosed with stage 4. How did they miss deep infiltrating endo that is so severe?! Shocking.
Do u feel any pain during the surgery eventho u are in anesthesia?
Why did he say you only till 30?
I've been seeing a doctor in Sydney CBD and booked in for surgery in 2 weeks but after watching your video, I'm contemplating if I should change doctors. Don't know what to do! :( Please help! :(
I had the same experience. You are not alone❤
Endometriosis pain is so devastating and depressing .I remember having sharp stabbing pains in my pelvis out of nowhere.I had to scream 😢😢😢
Preparing my own surgery this week .😮I pray everything will went well.thanks for sharing@ Emily
Please are you a Nigeria
As an endometriosis sufferer myself, am I really in for a lifetime of repeat surgeries?
Until they find a cure unfortunately yes.
I am going for a mri scan soon before my surgery for my endometriosis I am so nervous for it
thank you for sharing! I've been trying to figure out what all is going on with me , this helps.
I dont comment much on videos but I came across your channel because I was just diagnosed with endometriosis and had my surgery 2 weeks ago. I started my period 4 days after surgery and it was a difficult recovery. I'm trying not to get too discouraged and give myself time. I know healing is a process. The endo destroyed my left ovary so I had to have that removed as well as my fallopian tubes. Your videos are encouraging though and they help me feel like I'm not alone in this. ❤
I am watching at 32 weeks pregnant after having endometriosis and polycystic ovarian syndrome confirmed in a laproscopic surgery March 28th of 2022, they found my abdominal muscles had binded to my uterus, which was torn. The doctor didn't make any repairs and I became pregnant since then, due early August. I am hopeful this new o.b.g.y.n. will be able to deliver the baby and also clean up my pelvis and abdomen in the same procedure. I send my prayers and wishes for your healing, family health, happiness and wealth! Happy Spring 2023.
The catheter removal from my second cesarean section (2018) was not smooth and I have had issues with my urethra since then myself.
Thank you for sharing, your video helps me feel more hopeful.
I’ve just found your channel I have my surgery 2 weeks away I’m petrified 😢
I got my own laparoscopy done and got diagnosed with severe rectovaginal deep infiltrating endometriosis which is stage 4 All the adhesions and cysts and nodules were taken out. I wanted to ask when does the pain resolve cause I thought after surgery I thought I’d be pain free but it’s been 2 weeks and I’m still in a lot of pain and taking my anti inflammatory and pain medication. The doctors here in India say I shouldn’t need pain meds.
I am 2 weeks out from my surgery and still need my pain meds occasionally. Especially at night when I can feel I was too active. It sounds like you had a pretty extensive surgery. Be patient with your body. Hopefully you will feel better soon. ❤
Just got my surgery done may 8 2023 I had 2 cysts each ovary one was 7 cm the other 4 cm I was in so much pain I waited 7 months for this surgery. I’m day 2 recovering and it sucks 😭😭😭 but I am happy at least the cyst is gone out of my body I cannot wait until I fully recover. I broke down so hard because I’ve been struggling with this for 1+ years and I was having a hard time getting pregnant
Have you tried helping your cure with diet
Just discovered your channel just less than a month ago, watching your videos has made me feel so much more prepared for my laparoscopy 💛
Thank you for sharing your surgery journey. I so appreciate your vulnerability & keeping it real! My daughter is having a hysterectomy (uterus, tubes, & cervix) as well as endo excision in the U.S. with outpatient/same day discharge... & Momma is nervous!
Thank you! My wide excision is this week 🙏🏾 have you been able to get back to working out? I was also told my recovery will take that amount of time
I recently got diagnosed with endo after having two cysts removed from each ovary (10cm and 11cm). It was a pain I have never ever felt before. After diagnoses, it’s been difficult having people understanding what I feel. I’m glad I found your channel. My surgeon left my ovaries since I don’t have any kids. So I just gotta take care of myself until I’m done having kids. I’m glad that you are doing okay and you look so healthy!
Thanks for sharing! I’ve been watching you for a while now, just wondering- are you on any birth control pills? My dr said I would have to be on them for the rest of my life.
thank you so much for sharing with us. i’m so glad your health & symptoms have improved with this last surgery. i myself am in the process of finding a surgeon for my 2nd surgery (looking for excision just like you had) and it’s been really tough - so hearing your story has been very comforting for me.
Thank you for sharing your experiences! I'm having my first lap at the end of this month :)
I had my first appointment yesterday with an endo specialist. He said I probably have endo and maybe even adenomyosis. I'm now waiting on them to call me for a surgery date.
I definitely feel I am going to need to push for a second laparascopy cause my colonoscopy showed nothing and i am still getting so much pain.
Between your first and second surgery were you put on any form of contraceptive suppressant for your endo?
Hi lovely! I wasn’t due to the fact I was TTC and had a baby, I also have had bad experiences with contraceptives in the past 🤍
Dr Kowalski is the best surgeon in the entire world
I second this!!! 💖💖
where in syd is david ??
CBD 💖
Our stories are so similar! I had my diagnostic laparoscopy in September 2021 (stage 1). I also had so many bowel and digestive system symptoms and had a endoscopy & colonoscopy 2 weeks prior to my first surgery. Excision and ablation was used to remove endometriosis from my left Uterosacral ligament, pouch of Douglas and most on my bladder with endometriosis left on my bladder that was “too risky to remove”. I was told to go back to her once the pain was “getting worse” and she would remove it. I went back 3 months post surgery in agony. She was dismissive and said she would refer me to a urologist. It took 3 months for my referral to be sent. I had a cystoscopy and my urologist said it was definitely an endometriosis issue. I decided to seek a new surgeon and found one over an hour away and had surgery with in 6 weeks 2 hours away from home. In August 2022 he preformed excision of endometriosis (stage 2) from my bladder plus more found on the right pelvic wall. He did a cystoscopy, hysteroscopy, D&C and Pap smear during my 2 hour surgery. My first surgery the recovery was so rough! Second the recovery was night and day! We are on the path to TTC baby #1. Though I still have ongoing bladder issues and chronic pelvic pain that surgeon gave me my quality of life back! Sending you so much love, thankyou for your vulnerability and sharing your experience with others. You are helping so many people on their journeys and I have followed your Instagram (@withendo_ / @moniquerose_s) since the beginning of my journey and it helped me so much in my experiences. Sending love and light your way 💛✨
Thanks for sharing ur journey… u helped me alot ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️i did my surgery 2 months ago and im still suffering ☹️ but u helped me alot soo thanks🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍
I’m so sorry you’ve still been suffering 🥹 sending you lots of love, healing takes time 💖
Hi Emilia, I'm so glad to hear that your surgery was a success. I do have 1 question though. What was the post-op care/ treatment like??? As I have been hearing nothing but absolute horror stories from people. Makes me a bit hesitant about having surgery done😭
Hi lovely, my post op care was incredible this time around! That was my personal experience though. Everyone’s is different unfortunately 💖 I hope you get the care you deserve lovely xx
Hey! Does the aura work well? Im looking into it and ovira but can’t really find reviews on the aura? Thanks!
Hi lovely! Hmm not sure why there’s no reviews! I personally love and prefer the Aura! I find it has more settings and easier to wear 💜
@@emiliavictoria Hi! I loved this video! Another question for the aura, how much would you say the pain drops and where the pain is relieved
How many months after surgery did you get pregnant? And how long after surgery did you get the OK to start trying? I go to an endo specialist in 3 weeks. I'm almost certain I have it. My story is identical to yours! It's getting BAD. I'm hoping for surgery actually.
Hi! I just came across your channel! I would love to know about your journey as I’m newly diagnosed with endo. Do u mind sharing more about which stage endo you had and how fast did your endo grow back after your first surgery and pregnancy?
Hi love, welcome 💖 It’s hard to tell when my Endo grew back as I had pain all throughout pregnancy then after I gave birth as well! I also had different surgeons for both surgeries! It’s really hard to know when Endo has grown back as it can only be confirmed via surgery 💖
💛💛💛
Love your vlogs 😊🖤 Easton is a little cutie patootie! You seem to be recovering really well which is amazing! I still can't do any high intensity workouts at all, even 1 year after my surgery. I find that it causes me to flare up really bad within a few hours Wishing you a pain free week lovely 😊🖤
Love your videos they’ve helped me so much during my journey with Endo! I had a question: How long did it take for the pain to settle down after the op? I’m 7 weeks post op but my pain is not going ☹️
You’re doing so well! Your event was amazing!
I'm so excited I've come across your channel. I'm pretty sure I've had endo since middle school. I'm 37 now and I'm about to see a specialist in 4 weeks. I'm nervous but I'm ready for answers. I hear he's a great doctor, I'm almost certain surgery will be needed. I have endo belly every single day of the month now :( as well as all the pain and everything else endo brings. Can't wait to watch your other videos.
& what is that massive yellow tube of cream?
