Looks like a fantastic tutorial for its time but as we are now at version 9.3.0 there are many issues that require simply going to the docs. Would love a current tutorial in the same style. Liked anyway.

I'd like to make a GUI that can talk to hardware connected to my computer. Not sure if a web-based browser app can do it (Web-Usb)... or if I need a standalone desktop application (Electron). Can Flutter/Flet access hardware or should I go with something else? I find so many options that it's a bit overwhelming.. like NiceGUI, Streamlit , PyGwalker , Flask , Django, Pyramid , Bottle, FastAPI , Jinja2 , BeautifulSoup , Requests , Selenium , etc
For me, I often build applications on both Android and Desktop app using Flutter. One thing that I experience so far with Flutter is when writing Desktop app, Dart CANNOT access hardware like printer and card reader (that is not keyboard emulator), but Python CAN. So, Flet is a very good choice for me for those hardware accibilities problem while I dev Android/iOS with Flutter as usaul 😊

Is learning Flet a waste of time?
@@abdelhakim.sahifa 100% -> imho dart is 10X more enjoyable to work with than python, the ecosystem just works well, the type system in native, etc. Flutter uses dart, so flet is build on top, and not build by the flutter team, so there will be inconsistencies, lack of documentations, etc. No company will hire you because you know Flet, because no company will choose Flet over native flutter. Message for python dev: its time to learn something else, python is cool for ML, scripting, etc, but learning a programming language that is closer to other programming language is mandatory in your carrer, and when you will discover the pleasure to work in big programs with statically typed languages like dart, C#, kotlin etc you will never choose python for big projects. Still cool for POC, etc tho

There is a new package added by me. It formates the .arb files of localizations in acending order and also keeps their metadata fields under them. Package name: intl_utils_formatter
