This is a try of Ed Sheeran's tune based on Miki Santamaria's all bass guitar cover. Not exactly the same line nor the same sound...Not totally happy with it but anyway here it goes...

A personal composition done for a Bass Creation Challenge for SBL... with a light solo 'round 1:33. A bit of Garage Band for the backing track, a light Yamaha TRB4 P for the melody, a large usage of the Ibanez BTB33 for all the finishing parts and a lot of stress ;-)

Ouch... Love that tune so I wondered if I could or if I would...Using that E-C BTB33... Kept the original tune with Janek Gwizdala on the left channel and set my take on the right channel...

Does the piezo work well with pedals (octave, filters and fuzzes)? Previous experiences with piezo have suggested otherwise for me
Hello, I don't know for the other filters and fuzzes. I played it with a BossOC2 and it did well.

Bonjour Serg Rio, pour la vidéo (pseudo montage) j'utilise iMovie (je filme à la base avec la caméra de mon Mac) et pour le son c'est Garage Band. Le son synthè est en fait le son normal doublé d'un octaver deux octaves au dessus. Pascal

Amazing stuff man :") Have you ever tried tuning this bass B-G using thicker gauge strings? Or do you at least think it's possible?
Hey Mark, Thx a lot...I was looking for a E-C tuning so I never switched to a low B. But I know that some people tried and were quite happy with that bass tuned B-G. Check this out if you want to have an idea : ruclips.net/video/Ycs1Lm4qGuc/видео.html
Just a question, how would this play if you used a pick and took out the middle bar? i want to use the 33 as a psuedo bass/guitar hybrid in a drum and bass rock band, use the c string for licks and chords...

Hello, Merci... J'ai un jeu de Daddario EXL165-6 (set pour 6 cordes-j'ai mis le B de côté). C'est un premier essai avec elles. Je trouve qu'elles manquent un peu de brilliance (en comparaison avec les Elixir Nanoweb originale) mais ça me va qd même. Je suis en direct dans GarageBand via un iRig HD et je n'ai aucun effet à part une très légère "Reverb".
