It was the end of the place when the owner took off the tiles and sold them for over 1million £ because the tiles was worth more than the building it self.

Sorry I have no photo's of the cliff's tea rooms ,ONLY happy memories when Dudley retired he had all the photo's,and Nigel the gardener had a few but Dudley passed away and I haven't seen Nigel in years as I have said all I have is happy memories of the cliff's tea rooms and the staff,a bunch of great people to work with,and the laughs and tears we all shared together,

Great video Chelsea, i am from Bristol have drank in this pub a few times was always quite full. Sad loss to most community pubs in Bristol that are closed down 👍

I worked there for eight years it's heartbreaking to see it now the gardens were beautiful and beautifully kept and it was very very busy , we had a very good reputation and people used to pile in especially in the summer, we had Jimmy cricket pop in Roy walker , Penelope Keith, when they were in panto ,and few others because it was out of the way great place to work a great bunch of people

I worked at the hospital for 12 years and seeing this filming is absolutely terrifying seeing all the graffiti everywhere how can they be like this 😮

I trained at the Lord Mayor Treloar hospital in the 90s. Robertson house was the Drs quarters. I spent some time living here.

This is so sad, I used to drink there in the late 80s & 90s. It was always full of a big bunch of friendly people and we had some great times there, many happy memories. The stairs by the toilets always had an eerie vibe and the landlord used to wind us up saying the place was haunted but we never saw anything. Many relationships were formed there, I wish it was still the old Bell pub that I knew and loved. 😢
