What’s the max range? Can it go as far as 150 km?
The maximum range for this particular setup is about 40km, claimed by manufacturer. However, not tested, we are interested in vertical profiles not horizontal transects.

Hi, it is a custom made quadcopter for albedo and reflectivity measurements, it was produced by German company that does not exist anymore. It was never produced for consumer market, it is not possible to buy it.

Good idea, however it is fully electric, thus not really usable in battlefield. Rotax engines do better job there.

Do you mean by "optimal speed", the speed that gets you the greatest range? And what speed was that? Thanks...
Hi, we fly mostly missions and doing research in vertical profile up to 2km AGL, so nothing that would help in general flying this platform. Airspeed 17 m/s was good for our application, with no negative ground speed at high latitudes.

What kind of payloads does it carry?
It has two gimbals with spectrometers - narrow, wide band and visible light in each facing up and down. Should go for Mosaic expedition to measure snow albeado and so on...
