Elvis Presley - “August 24, 1972 DS” (Wheat Suit)
This is now confirmed to be Aug. 24, ‘72 Dinner Show, so I overdubbed the correct audio.
He’s apparently wearing a second version of the Wheat Suit with the Blue Macramé belt he wore with the Fringe suit on tour in Sept. 1970………thanks to JackElvisFisher for that info
This is a Re-Upload.

This is possibly the August 5 Dinner Show. It looks like he’s wearing the 1970 Blue Brocade Suit but correct me if I’m wrong. Credit: u/masterchief481222 on Reddit Updated video: ruclips.net/video/eZ3oaL9kyRI/видео.htmlsi=64nSPy3IqALkpx0E

GOAT 🇺🇸
Sounds great Elvis. Keep singing!
This is so sickening
Waylon GD Jennings. That's all you need to know.
Kind of hard to recognize ol' Mooney, without his hat! 😲
Out Foking Stan Ding 🎼
My life of cocaine / women and the road lol / I survived and got on track / bandit
Who else thinks Ralph Mooney fits right square in with Waylons band??
Amo esta música 🎵
Ronnie Tutt bestest drummer!!
There is absolutely nobody in country music that will ever come close to Waylon Jennings.
His breathing isn’t great here laboured in parts , he’s tired and burnt out !
Fire
WJ 👑 💯
Now
I will love this Man forever ❤
Never happened
Elvis actually did fire the Colonel but not in this way.
PARKER ACTULLY MADE THE REAL ELVIS PEFORM TOM HANKS SAID THE SAME THING
He needed a shave and a GD haircut.
That rough look made him who he was!
Glen was here 2024
O aço nas mãos do velho moon termina o desenho!!
Carter Robertson has worked as an artist, writer, and background singer in the music industry for most of her life. She holds the distinction of being the only female member of Waylon Jennings' band, the Waylors, throughout Country Music's "Outlaw" era. She backed up both Waylon and his wife, Jessi Colter, on stage and in the studio. Her recording credits include Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, Don Was and many others. In the late 1990s, she joined up with old friends to form the Waymore Blues Band.
This whole concert used to be on RUclips
Wild man! I grew up listening to his voice. It’s like a lullaby to me.
I love Waylon, but to me Ralph Mooney makes any song better, and sound like real country music.
That's crazy the band can just pick it up unscripted like that.
One of the all time best videos ever that drummer is perfect along with drum pitch toms.
Singing thru my nose? Too much coke Waylon you never needed a 50,000 key.
You can tell he's a heavy drinker just by his face.
He really wasnt though. More of Cocaine and pills.
WJ=👑 real Outlaw Country
I really like Waylon and his live stuff. Just one thing, when I find the record version, it's usually slower or tuned a half step or 2 higher. I like this flat version better. And the tempo. Same with "That's what you get for loving me" by Waylon. Live 1967 🤌
The Iconic Waylon Jennings
That dude shreds on that Steel Guitar
If Waylon WASNT showing off, there was something wrong!
This is when country was still spelled with an o
This song isn’t one of my favorites of Waylon. However any time I hear this song I’ll always think back to this legendary performance. When he says boogity boogity boogity and the video immediately cuts to the drummer smiling ear to ear for a brief moment it completes the video. Also the guitar solo is just perfect. Bring back the pedal steel guitar!! Long live outlaw country!
Zach Bryan, Koe Wetzel, Morgan Wallen, or any of these modern day pansies couldn’t touch this with a 10 foot pole.
WJ 🎵 🤴🏼
Gawd dalm I miss this man. I love so many great country artists. But for me Waylon was the The King. He was bigger than life. Big as the West Texas sky that gave birth to his dreams.
It’s sad to see him like this. So bloated. Knowing he would be dead 2 months later.😢
Spotlight on ole hoss, Mooney! Best peddle steel player in Nashville & beyond!
There'll never be another Waylon. He'll always be the best ever. There is absolutely no one that can ever do what he did.
Thanks for taking the time to re-check. I knew something was off about this being the blue brocade suit. I just couldn't see Elvis re-using that kind of suit at that point. Thanks for also taking the time to re-edit the audio.
No problem! :)
Hey, he’s actually wearing apparently a second version of the Wheat suit. I updated the Description.
Gotta love the Moon!
Sad to see how strung out he was during this interview. But even when he was out of his mind, he still set that guitar on fire. What a legend
phewwwwww this is cool.
great
❤
I’m trying to learn this stuff, but what is he doing to make a guitar sound like that?
overdrive, phaser, compressor, banjo drop d tuner for the e string
Hi Jay, look up CNKGuitar - he’s the best at teaching Waylon’s style. Been a fan of his for years.
@@guvnaguitars Yes, I’m familiar with him. I got the right notes from watching his fingers, but, can’t make it sound right.
“Willie’s slow” cracks me up every time 😂
