Definitely a future mod, but it has held up amazingly so far. No issues at all. As long as I keep the torque lower it should hold for what I want to make. But one day that swap will happen. And also, Migtuned for life!!✊🏽

I agree too many snooty types make it out like we bought our WRX because we couldn't afford an STI. There's an overlap where a new base STI cost less than the most expensive versions of WRX's. I've owned 2 WRX's. My first in 2011 when my income was less, but I could still comfortably afford the STI if I wanted. Even in 2018 where I had budgeted over $20k the ceiling of a new STI, still I took the WRX cuz the WRX does 95% of what the STI does. The other 5% are only realized in a track setting and I would never track my daily. I would rather have a dedicated track car, or take lessons using the track rentals. Most of the time it is the least expensive option unless you're planning to do track days all the time, but honestly who has that kind of time?

These cars can do a lot of everything’s done properly. Like yeah there’s some technique involved in launching and flat footing so you don’t kill the clutch. But it’s all a learning process. I don’t think i mentioned it in the video but there was one oil line that was giving me problems and blew off twice! Ran completely out of oil in 3 seconds. Fixed it and filled it up and not a noise to be heard. These engines can handle a good bit

Going for 500 soon. Stock block record for FA’s is around 650 I think. I know a few people with stock blocks and internals making around 620. Uniqueness is key in the car community nowadays, so much hate for no reason. If this video can help someone feel better about there car or inspire them to do something like this, that’s what matters

Definitely will be getting the process west intake manifold with port injection. And sadly will have to go front mount. I love the top mount tho, sticks with the Subaru heritage

@@pgh_wrx Very nice. What route do you plan to go for port injection? I have heard of some failures with the IBR SIC01 but the motec is just so damn expensive.

@@k20a2toofast4u Also the dyno really makes a difference. For years people have said the Mustang Dyno is a heartbreaker because it typically reads much lower than others. Also has you already know, you can goof around with the parameters of any Dyno to get it to spit out a much higher estimate. You hear Dyno "estimates" all the time but it's rarely backed up with a "G-meter" before and after result. I think that is important for those looking to get into tuning. You have to have a tangible goal. Otherwise you're just chasing ghost.

Yes very common in all subies. To minimize it get aftermarket motor mounts. Since you have an ej25 it’s super easy to replace them
