I completely disagree. Sure staging on the surface makes it feel occupied but who cares, buyers arent looking for staged houses, theyre looking for something that fits their criteria in their heads.

The unanswered question still remains… High interest rates does not mean the developer or any RE company will get more money. It’s the lender who may or may not get a bigger chunk of percentage. Can raise equity by making overpayments (usually 10%). On the realistic side, interest rates will decline at an extremely slow rate whilst rent is going up constantly. The real questions is, do you have enough deposit to get a good deal and whether do you have any other plans how that deposit can be used? P.S.: current interest rates in the UK are fair. They will be able to regulate the house prices on a long-term compared to what was going on in 2020 with 2% and below rates.

We relocated from Chicago 3 years ago. Overall, we love Minnesota. So many outdoor opportunities so close to the city! So much cleaner and less crowded. However, I have to disagree on "Minnesota Nice." It's purely surface and superficial. Sure, some stranger will say "hi" to you, but that's about as far as it goes. I find Chicago is much more open and welcoming to newcomers. Minneapolis is much more provincial.
