@@Strictlyfundancer watched it 3 times and thought got most of that in my mind then realised I had been watching ladies steps. As I dance with my sister now and mainly do gent will have to have a re-watch, but reversing the way you did makes it much easier to see both. Thank you.

Thank you for your lovely comment Carol ... this is my regular dance event venue and my lot loved doing this video for us.

The dance was created for everyone to be able to dance it hence the reason it was kept simple … but it had options to be styled and danced by more experienced dancers as freestyle … let me know if you would like the optional script 🤗🕺🏼🎶💃🏻

It is not a professionally written one ... just my simplified version for social dancers but you are welcome to have a copy. It was our way of creating a Viennese Waltz pattern which could be danced as a sequence or within a normal Viennese Waltz routine (without too many turns). We had fun doing it ... Hello Linda … the walkthrough to the Platinum Waltz is on my RUclips channel and the music is The Platinum Waltz by our musician friend David Read and is on his Platinum Jubilee Album which comes as a CD or sent as a download. When you purchase the CD it comes with 2 scripts … one written for teaching and a simplified version for social dancers. Email David at davidballroom@yahoo.co.uk and he will send you details. It is a very fitting tribute to our late Queen who received a copy of the CD and the DVD of many groups dancing this at their jubilee dances in June. Good luck with it. Mox

Thanks Richard. We are getting a lot of pleasure out of creating our wee sequence dances for social dancers without the pressure of the competitive element … 💃🏻🎵🕺. It’s what kept me (and our dancers) going during the last two years. Happy to share them though and if folks enjoy dancing to them that’s great 🤗. And David’s music is inspirational … 🎵🎹
