Custom afterburner/reheat test - Robo Challenge

First proper test of our afterburner for a 150lb custom made engine. Still a lot of tweaking to go but it's making flames atleast. The engine is designed and built by the legendary Phill Heward, and the afterburner/ECU built by us at Robo Challenge. Many thanks to Andy Morris at DIY GT for all his help and advice in design and trouble shooting with the Afterburner.

I would LOOOOOVE to be able to fly like this!!!! I'm doing good to fly in a circle, do a loop in fwd flight and flip it inverted. Fear makes me flip it back over as soon as I do because I can't afford the parts!! How the hell do you even get to this point?

Helifest UK tv episode one, information about This years Helifest at weston park are you going?
Grate video and interview Nik, it's a shame a that you don't mention anything about the demo scale flying which is massive in this country, its not just all about 3D flying. I have supported you event for the last couple of years, maybe you could this year you could cover all the skills that is involved in helicopter flying not just the grab it and smash it about flying , There was a grate interest in my turbine scale bell 412 last year lets try and be pro active and fair in whats out there instead of just one disciplined. Thanks Brett Houghton
Hey Brett, thanks for the comments It's always a treat to hear people's constructive feedback. The market for turbines and scale is very narrow so although we do share your passion for largescale we must cater to the majority. So does mean we're not going to do a feature on scale turbines not at all, in fact when we do one we'll try and let you know.
