😂😂😂😂 i worked with him on a construction job building a wharf on the gold coast. The first time i met him he had a camo bucket hat on that looked like it had come from a discount store and he was showing me a photo of a beret on his phone. He had all these downloaded photos on his phone and my boss bought into his bullshit,hook line and sinker. He tried to tell me that anything over 800 yard was an impossible shot and i worked out then he was a pathological lier. I could hit targets at 500 yards freestanding and i was just a basic ameture shooter with no proper training. I certainly wasn't elite military. When he told me they just cooked on an open fire at night in Afghanistan i shook my head😂😂. Im no soldier but i cant imagine a group of elite military soldiers who are famous for getting into places undetected would piss it all away by lightning up an area for the whole surrounding district to see

In the US where people are "thanked for their service" which is a bit odd - you chose to do a job (like any other, you chose to do this) to then be sent overseas in foreign wars... ok... thanks for doing the bidding of Government for arms/oil companies (oops)... but I digress... if he was just say yep, not in the Army, just wearing a cos-play outfit, he'd be fine.

1. "Navy Clearance Diver" "Commando" - they NEVER say "I was just a grunt with a pack and an SLR trudging through the desert mate" 2. "Service number?" trips them up every time. EVERYTHING you do, every bit of paper, every form, it's all done with your service number. You repeat it so often it becomes tattooed behind your eyelids. Mine was over 40 years ago and I recall it with zero hesitation. It's the same for anyone who has served, no matter how short a time.
