@ my friend face your sad east. So if one person says so, does that represent the majority of Ikwerre people? Among u ibos , a lot are against u IPOB putting pressure on other ethnicity to claim them but for fear of being kpaied would not want to speak up. Look what u all did to ijele; a fellow Ibo like u all because he said the truth. If an Ibo person in the south east says that u all are Ikwerre would you agree with him? But because it’s not u and it’s the other way round, u agree with it. It only shows how greedy and desperate and dishonest u people are hence it should not be a surprise why u all are hated. Respect peoples boundaries and face your region period!

I will not insult you and I forgive you for been rude. Nobody stops you from bearing the name Ikwerre but what I'm saying is Ikwerre is an Igbo subgroup not Benin. Kaduna Nzeogwu was from Okpanam in Delta state, because of him many Igbos died in the pogroms and in the civil war because others tribes in Nigeria said it was an Igbo coup but today some natives of Okpanam will say they are not Igbo. Anambra has the highest number of billionaires in Africa per square kilometres. We don't need Ikwerre for anything except for blood relationship even DNA results have confirmed that Ikwerre and Igbos are one.

And mind you Igbo is an umbrella word. For example in Abia State we have Ngwa people, Ohafia, Arochukwu etc

@ for your information, historically, do u know that arochukuwu belongs to the ibibios? Look the moment u all realize that what you are embarking on will definitely ensnare u all , the better. Igbo means bush men ; a name given to call by the colonial masters after the abolition of slavery. And since u all where so much comprising of people from other places , lands where taken to accommodate you all. In reality, u all are even strangers in Nigeria and the lands which you dwell on are owned by the Benins Igalas and ibibios.

What don’t u people get? Ikwerre nor be ibo. Make u stop that nonsense.

Talking about the Ikwerre history: History of the Ikwerre people of Rivers State, has been contesting. And so many Tribe as fighting for ikwerre the be their sub tribe. The truth remains that Ikwerre is Ikwerre. We are not Benin We are not Ijaw We are not Igbo And we are not Akwa/Cress. History told us that "Ikwerre origin is Ikwerre", and have existing from the far before migration started. Yes, we migrated from Benin in 15th century Ijaw in 17th century Igbo in 18th century Akwa/Cross was recently recorded. ... But note that Ikwerre people have been existing before that time.

Most big languages are like that including Hausa, Yoruba, English, Chinese(Mandarin) even have old and new versions, French etc

Not all of Anambra dialect is that different. I'm from Anambra and we use the word tuturu for picking up something too. Ikwerre has many sub-dialects with some having very divergent words. For example, (mbra) means now in most parts of Ikwerre whereas Owerre and surrounding areas use (ugbua) for now. Some parts of Anambra use (kita) while others use (uduu) for now. Kita and Ugbua today are the most popular words for now in spoken Igbo but if you go to different parts of Igboland, I bet you'll see other unique words for now.

There is a lot of different sound of igbo dialect in all the villages and communities that make up Anambra state likewise all other states that make up Nigeria create south east ,there is a difference sounds of igbo dialect, in those states but ikwere people want to recreates what they did not create by trying to use their different sound of igbo ikwere dialect as a single tribe in rivers state and Nigeria as a whole, but they don't know as ikwere people is playing the game every thing about igbo tribe shows up and always display
