Finally caught up with this episode! Awesome chat fellas. We ❤ SW and Brad too 👍🏽

Managed to catch up was a great stream and I have to say that I also found my plug for my led lights that I lost from 3 years ago 😅 I realised two years ago that it was not with the lights and I wasn’t sure what I had done with it. So at that time, I bought a new one but I could not find one that was the same with a switch on it that controlled the lights so you could have them sparkle, twinkle etc. Then this year when I was putting them up, I knocked over a lamp and lo and behold there it was behind the lamp and it must’ve been there for the last three years. I felt like a right twit 🙄🤣

I hope you have a multi region DVD player 😂. Great gift from Andy. Deluxe? No, just a way for Hasbro to charge more for a figure! I’d rather they put on a standard 6x9 and still charge more!

What a lovely man Brad is! Very elequent . They should have just polished the films and re-released them . The emporer change in empire was the only scene I would have kept . I just spent several Sundays going to see all the Star Wars films and it’s given me a greater appreciation for all of the films and even the scenes and characters I was not keen on I watched with kinder eyes. Do I love it all ? No, but appreciate it for what it is ❤ Nothing but love , y’all x

Great episode Stu! Brad was an excellent guest and made some good points. I think the internet and social media definitely sours the relationship the fans have with Star Wars. Things are always amplified by the internet. I don’t however think that you can compare the Star Wars of today to the Star Wars under GL. If you take the Woke opinions, the agenda’s, and other nonsensical stuff out of it, essentially you can’t compare the poor writing and story from ‘some’ of today’s offerings to Star Wars in the past. 16 cinematic Star Wars projects have been announced since The Rise of Skywalker and the only one that has actually been made is the Mando movie 🤯 That tells me there is something wrong in Lucasfilm. I also agree with Brad about Skeleton Crew is a big moment for the younger generations. I just hope they like it. There is just too much other stuff to occupy youngsters now. Star Wars was the only game in town for a few years in the 80s. The prequels were awesome! ❤ I loved the special editions too. ❤️ I think overall the original trilogy is made better with the Special Editions. (IMO). I just wish they had done it in the 2000’s so the technology was a little more advanced. All hail the genius of George Lucas! Please bring him back in some capacity for one last project Disney!

It is a thing that the younger generation just aren't as into star wars. My son will watch ESB and RotJ but has 0 interest in NH. Even so, he really only wants to watch specific parts. I showed him the prequels and sequels, he had even less interest in those lol. He lives the big monsters like the Rancor and Wampa. He thinks Darth Vader is cool and lightsabers are cool but, unlike me he just dies not connect with the story, adventure aspect or the cool spaceship stuff. Since he is 5.5 yrs people could say it's just too young but that's tge age I watched NH. My buddy had an issue with his kid, he showed her all the Star Wars stuff and she totally dislikes it now. It's just a thing I guess?

In my opinion the first special edition release of The Empire Strikes Back was pretty much perfect. All they did was tweak a few of the visual effects and added some extra footage of the Wampa. However when George kept going back and making more changes particularly changing the Emperor's dialogue and changing Boba Fett's voice, I started to feel very disillusioned with the whole special edition endeavour.

Awesome Video Stu. I was lucky to get the "Deluxe" figs I wanted so far at deep discount. I agree these are not deluxe in the slightest.

Lovely surprise gift from Andy. I don’t remember ever seeing the GI Joe cartoon inthe80s. Enjoyed the Action Forcecomicand annuals, but will have to check out the cartoon on RUclips. Have mixed feelings about the deluxe packs. Definitely prefer the cardbacks to the boxes, although not convinced the extra space is needed. Some of the figures do not seem to qualify as deluxe to me, especially Boba and Jango. The Stormtrooper and cannon is definitely the best so far. SAF have that Jango for 8.95 now, regret paying full price 🤷🏻🤦

Yeah the TVC boxed deluxe figures completely suck! I actually don’t mind the large carded ones. Another bloody Grogu 🤦‍♂️ Adam bought me one of those little Read Five reference books. Really useful so you don’t have to lift up the giant book 🤣 Greats gift from Andy.

I was able to grab the Krrsantan figure at one of my local Ollie's for $10. So I got it on a steal. I'm still wanting to get the Jango Fett figure because I literally don't have one in my collection. I'm hoping his price goes down eventually. And also hoping for the same with Cobb Vanth.

Great video Stu, and very generous of Andy. I used to think that a more paint apped figure was put into a wave with less paint apped figure (like say, a Stormtrooper) or a repacked/repainted figure, so to keep the average price of figures the same. But you are so right, unless we get a fair sized accessory these are simply normal figures.

What makes it even worse Stu is that Jango fett is on Star Action Figures for £8.95 now.

first off the whole mary poppins thing you were saying about leia was done long before disney got star wars, in the clone wars animated series plo koon and few others did the whole floating through space thing. so, wasn't just because disney put it in there. it was done long before disney got ahold of ownership of star wars. so, just putting that out there.
