Silent Night - Christmas music with Clarion - part four
‘Our focus in music lessons this term has been on performing skills such as turn taking, listening and watching, reading a score, performing a solo and as a group, following a conductor and communicating with others. Each of the students here were following a score and playing the correct chords on Clarion to go with the carol ‘Silent Night’. Music lessons can use many core skills alongside the musical ones and we try and develop these in all our lessons’

Student Support Assistant Profile - Turlough - the drive behind Treloar's
I went here and hated it 😢 I had 6 GCSEs and they wouldn’t believe I got them
I went to Trelaors but I didn’t like it they thought I was stupid and wouldn’t believe I got GCSEs. I wanted to run the teacher who said that my old school cheated and just gave me fake GCSEs 😠 I hated Trelaors
Some of my friends are in that video😊
I went ther over 30yeArs ago- didn't like it
I went therdee and it was crud-hated it there
Que lindeza, apesar de não falar inglês as imagens falam muito. Flávio que Legal poder te ver atuando na educação especial. Vamos compartilhar sua experiência por aqui.
I went to this college and I hated it
I went there and hated it
Sorry to hear that. Did you leave early?
Before I came to this place I just got my GCSEs but they said that I never got them. They also said that I would never live independently but I got my own place for over 290 years
Hi my is Hannah and I was at Treloars for 3 years and it changed my life a lot
We're glad to hear that Treloar's had such an impact on your life.
The RUclips algorithm brought me here and I'm glad it did, from a disabled person on the other side of the world (NZ) I'm so proud of the work you're doing! Absolutely major props to the students for being their own advocates and also a big kiwi chur for the staff helping to make it happen ❤
This article is amazing news. I loved going to treloars. I had so much fun memories there including beginning my journey as a screenwriter and comedian there.
I got round to watching it in the end. Very inspiring mate! keep it up. See you soon
I wonder how ASL and BSL developed. Wouldn’t it have been better and less confusing to have ISL: International Sign Language?
Thank you
Well done Thomas glad you like treloars
Bless him I have friends with this ❤
Go for it
🎉❤❤
This is so moving. Attaboy, Thomas. What an excellent place Treloar's is.
Good for her! Best of luck.
Lucy ❤
Reuben is an absolutely amazing and inspirational person. Thank you for sharing.
Shame the song is religious. Definite thumb up despite.
It was a good school when I was there, from 1977-1972, through being a good laugh, some of the seniors or my year doing spassie things, or some people from lower forms wanting to do silly things.
I saw something very funny, on the subject of social life, during one of my reunions, a sign saying "she is gay and we are fine with it". I was thinking it was a good job that Mr. Wilde wasn't still there, a former Art teacher, because he would have been kicking up "hell fire and brimstone" as the saying goes. This is because there was a time when someone was nicking dermatology cream from the Sick Bay. He was saying at the time, "we don't have this sort of thing here. If you are going to be Homosexual, do it somewhere else".
hold on dude! hold on.. i belive you are strong
This is super relatable in many aspects. Well done mate, absolutely top-notch all the best for the future.
Reuben is an absolutely amazing and inspirational person. Thank you for sharing. I wish he continues to flourish and achieves all the success he wants in life!!
What an inspiration. Reach for the stars, Ruben, because you are one.
I’m not sure how I ended being a Treloar supporter. I have no personal connection to the school or a particular child with a disability ; and to be honest I was thinking of maybe stopping my monthly support. Until I listened to Rueben. What a heart warming video. Go Rueben!!!!!! Reach for the life you want. Thank you Treloar for facilitating this. My donation stays exactly where it is 😊😊😊
that's great - thank you so much for your support!
Very interesting to learn the extent Treloars supports students. Classroom, residential, community, as well as therapy rooms. 🙂👍
Call of duty zombies
Wish I could join this place with beautiful people wow
wow, i can't believe what a high dependency unit Treloars has become since I left there in 1978, 1 to 1 carers, Nurses in uniform, from what i've seen , for sure 72' to 78 were the best years ...
Waw! These are great interesting people.. I would definitely love to work here if given the opportunity. I would apply though.
Even though I've left I still feel part of the family
This is really inspiring. Thanks.
Is this real sign language? I’ve seen other versions with much more detail in the signing
Hi Abrielle, this is using Makaton. Makaton is a language programme that uses symbols, signs and speech to enable people to communicate. It isn't a replacement language like British Sign Language, as Makaton isn't aimed solely at deaf people, so there is less things like finger spelling etc. and more focus on gestures and the meaning of the sentences to aid communication. Hope this helps.
@@Treloars100 thank you for your reply. If I use this for my hearing impaired friend that reads lips and knows sign language, will she understand the song and lyrics?
Bruh I thought this was gonna be ASL 😅
Lucy morning tomorrow please thank you for your one thank you thank
