🎶 Ain't nothin' gonna break my stride! Nobody gonna slow me down! Oh No, I got to keep on moving! Ain't nothin' gonna break-a my stride! I'm runnin' and I won't touch ground! Oh no, I go to keep on moving!🎶
2D animation is the best form of animation there ever was, is, and will be. This movie is a monument to the superiority that is 2D animation. Hats off to everyone who worked on it.
Now we literally have commercials telling us “animation is hard give us a break” (Invincible season 2)
I really liked DreamWorks’ style before they went digital
❤
Man prince is the peak of 2d animation. God bless
Why was I born in the wrong time.....
How, it's so smooth 😮 awe inspiring 😍
the way pharoah goes back to his chess game unbothered
i love it when there's a real collaboration between the animators and the voice actors. Too often they'll just be treated as seperate things and it shows
Dude these are such an awesome relic of 2d animation. It must feel so cool to have all of these old sketches in your hands.
The prince of Egypt is the only kids movie I’ve seen where the main character actively works with someone who killed thousands of children who had nothing to do with the conflict of the film, but yet people still think he’s the good guy
The Cartoonerific Podcast is all about celebrating Hand-Drawn animation and features interviews with Traditional animators, Directors and Historians.
The fact 2D ever even left is disgusting.
1:35 YOOO 2:25 LMAO 2:49 YEAH
Beautiful!
Can't wait to see him play the character in live-action.
Way cool stuff you did
He even looks like stoick.
True if he was bigger with the beard and costume. However he's going to reprise his role in the live action movie.
Earlier versions of The Prince of Egypt
This is outstanding
omg.......
Fucking genius
2D animation is superior. I’m not impressed with images rendered on a computer. CGI is cool but it’s missing the human element. Hand drawn is sacred and must be cherished.
I didn't realise that they are Norse-Gaels (viking cross Scottish celtic) in the movie and book. The book and movie is set in the out herbrides in Scotland NOT Scandinavia. Hemce, the Scottish accent.
SCOTLAND FOREEEEVAAAARRR
Gerard was born to play Stoick
As an aspiring animator, this has my jaw on the floor. This is why I want to be animator. THIS. I love this. ❤
What impressed me the most was how the animation process was, in addition to seeing how they were going to move, I loved it. Out of curiosity, the video begins with an image of several sheets with the Moses design. Out of curiosity, do you know where I can find it?
I was so surprised how much I liked this! You were great in this animated series. A great story!
2:48 bro i keep watching this. its so fluid and visceral its insane
He voice looks like ghost jawbone in warzone 2020
A reminder that animation is art, and art tells the tales of the people who make it
Me
I can never understand how animators can have such good understanding of their characters at every possible angle.
Awesome
Levende legende in nederlandse animatsie
Most excellent.
Ugh! He makes me sick t my stomach!
Nobody is forcing you to watch this video
@@zaramel4694 But just seeing people comment about him makes it worse.
@@jasminnemcdonald94A that's your problem. You hate him? You leave.
wait what did he do?
Pure Wizardry ⭐️
In HTTYD 1 Stoick disowning hiccup is so horrifying and heartbreaking 💔
this shit was done on PAPER WHAT
There is so much talent in here. The way acting feels natural and as if you can read their minds. How even the very stylized characters maintain this ultra defined structure and proportion as they move around, where the same shapes make sense in the different prospectives and angles. The fluidity and wieght to their movements. Then you stand back and remember that this is all lines on a paper. It is just so much talent in there.
Just watched this gorgeous movie
I cant imagine the amount of in betweens that went into this
Bring it back.
I wish they still made 2d animated movies like this, some of these 2d animated movies were part of my childhood. Now all they want to do is focus on 3d animated political propaganda
Is it just me or does it look way better without color? I don't get it, but I feel like the depth and style are both stronger here than in the final version
some of the acting is so good I thought it was rotoscope for a little bit
we need more 2d animations.
