They were the first warm up band and most of the people came just before metallica came on stage

INK really needs to stick with touring with bands like Bad omens and falling in reverse. This is not their crowd, and it’s definitely not the best crowd to market their work to.

Maybe there is a reason they don't sell out stadiums? And if you weren't there, why even care.

It's kinda ok-ish for Metallica, because they have 4 drumsets and rotate it every 3-4 songs to give a show for every corner of the stadium for at least a while. Support bands are stuck with a jogging session in a circle. And the screens do block the view for the upper rows, but it was not really the case on this stadium I see. Yesterday in Warsaw, we could not see a quarter of the show because of them. But then - the seats were so high, we could barely see band on the stage anyway

The point of an opening act is to attempt to target a new demographic. It’s not selling out, it’s literally how the music industry has worked since the beginning of time…

Not really, i loved the singing and the preformance.

Nah, it was actually alright, they were moving around the stage, so everyone could see all members of the band, and also even relatively close to a stage it was not so crowded that you can't step any direction.

I personally loved it, lot's of freedom to move around and didn't have to be shoulder to shoulder with everyone.

Yes, worked really well. You could leave the floor for snacks/drinks and get back relatively easy. Very good experience overall.

I’m with @dog5047. I was there and that’s actually my only complaint from the whole concert. The first 2 songs I only saw glimpses of James and Kirk. I didn’t see Lars at all basically for the first 5 songs. Maybe of the stage was a bit lower this could work. And whenever someone came even close to where I was people felt the compulsion to start filming so then there was a wall of cellphones in front of me. Other than that 10/10

In The Round works a lot better indoors, but it's a way of maximising ticket revenue from the stands.
