Pretty slick setup.
Not sold on the bending function given the short radius from the pivot pin. Seems like it would introduce a fair bit of error in the bend.
So I'm trying to figure out the rpm speed for quarter inch. I'm trying to understand the manual speed but I don't know how to get it.
Just to make sure we are talking about the correct RPM reference, I want to give a couple potential answers: If you are referring to the speed on the rheostat on the motor that rotates the blade, and you are using an FS19 motor on cutting 0.250" SS tube with a 0.035 - 0.049" wall, then you would want to have the blade speed set at 2-3 and you would use a LS-63100 blade (you could use a LS-6872 but cut finish will not be as smooth). Alternately, if you are using the "slow" motor with more gear reduction (the FS15) you would want the blade speed to be between 5-6 and would use the same blade. If, however, you are asking what the speed needs to be on the optional auto rotation, then you would want that set to the recommended speed that is automatically set when you program the model of the saw and the thickness of the tube. I would assume you will run about 6" per minute on this, but the auto rotation will actually calculate this for you. If you need more information, please call us at 281-824-0356.

🙂 Very nice . I am a welding instructor at West Virginia Community College. My program Director and I are interested in the future of welding . We have tremendous room and a 3year old welding facility. Our goal is to stretch the knowledge of welding into the next section of space adjacent to our current welding training area which has, 18 welding booths. I can see that adjacent space put to use with this machine , and sub-arc, a clean area away from the stick welding , with grinding and wire wheels .

I had to stand at the notching part for two days clipping atleast 1000 pieces of caps for metal tubes let's just say my feet didn't feel to good 5 to 6 hours in and my feet felt like it was going numb especially my left foot I had to do that for 10hrs that day then 2hrs the next day and I was done but it beats swinging a hammer
