Well your print is washed out, not vivid but thanks. The chief priest is physically blind as well as spiritually blind. I wish you could have done a longer video because I'd really like to see ALL of the symbolism contained in this painting as well as see the actual vivid colors.

I found your channel through my search of Bruegel’s painting “the adoration of the magi”. In fact, I sat down in front if the original painting last week in the royal museum in Brussel and received very similar revelation of yours through the facial expressions, and gestures of the crowd around Jesus. It was a genuine encounter with God and I was in tears in the midst of visitors. I trust that God will use your endeavour to lead people to this kind of intimate encounter with Him through the paintings you curated.

Great video. But you forgot to mention that initially when asked, Kramskoi would say that he didn't know if that was actually Christ. In fact, the painting is meant to portray the Russian spirit of the time. Moral in Russia was low and life was full of uncertainty and strife for the everyday Russian. So Kramskoi tried to encapsulate that in his painting.
