Congratulations, young man. Well done! I am doing my YM Coastal, not for professional reasons but more for myself and the knowledge and to prove to myself that I can do it. I am 57 now, have my own boat, and do not necessarily plan to go professional in boating. But hey, one never knows, right? ;-) . I passed the theory a week ago, skippered a week of training last week, and will now study and enforce my theory knowledge until my practical exam comes up in October. Your video was very helpful in understanding the flow of such an exam. Although I will do it on a sailing yacht, these have a few things in common. Fair winds to you, and good luck with your professional career!

There are a few other videos out there that are more detailed on the sailing exam so if you haven't already, do a search on youtube and I'm sure you'll find them. They have some good info about what, and what not to do! I look forward to hearing how your you get on with the exam. Fingers crossed for you and best of luck! 👍

I remember seeing your posts on some of the Facebook groups last season. Definitely had a good laugh and I’m glad you managed to find something. I want to start preparing for the yacht master myself and this came up at just the right time. All the best for the season ahead!
