First foray into flosstubing! Hopefully you like and subscribe! I’ll record once a month. Oh my goodness…I said married for 10 years to Chris, it’s actually 13.5 years! Whoops! Sorry husband🤷🏻♀️
This is the first time I've seen one of your videos. You have impeccable taste in the way you match fabrics and color conversions! But I have to ask - as a budding chart designer, would you be offended if I were to (jokingly) create a pattern that says "The chart is not a suggestion" ? It may be the insomnia, but that made me snort laughing!
Sherry, your fabrics and WIPS and finished pieces are gorgeous. Your husband's dragon is fantastic. The floss colors are amazing
Totally Fabulous
Hey Sherry. Cory just told me about your floss tube. Wonderful. Loved your first video and I'm in total awe of your fabrics and colors. I too love colors and you have given me a ton of inspiration. I'm watching your videos in order, so now on to #2. You are a natural. I feel like I'm sitting with you at our table at PNWSS. Thank you so much for sharing.
@@carlahaskell2178 thanks for watching my friend! I’ll see you very soon!
First video and must say very enjoyable and great projects and stitching. Subscribed. Lol husband doesn’t have to ask me where his totem is cos I have been monogamous since full coverage Feb. lol 2 and 1/3 pages left of 28. Especially 6 and 9s together lol or 8 I always have to look twice. Oh that hawk run is beautiful! Some beautiful pieces!
Hi Sherry! I met you at Stitch West in Ogden this year - I sat and stitched with you and your two friends a couple evenings in the lobby of the hotel. Anyway, I really enjoyed seeing all of your pretty WIPs and your adventurous fabric choices! Love them! Take care!
@@lisadolson6598 I remember! I hope you are well and getting a lot of stitch time in. Thank you for watching!
I love how you convert every project. I also do that to my non full coverages. I enjoyed seeing your WIPs. I cannot wait to see future updates on 1001 nights with your conversion.
Thanks! I really have to move that up in the rotation! Thanks for watching😊
I love all your projetcs and fabrics.
I love that house conversion…great choice! Going a pinch darker of a light pink on that darker fabric is gorgeous!
I have a yeti cup the same color as that yellow fabric…such a beautiful creamy yellow color❤
I like your storage ottoman, great idea….how long ago did you purchase that from Costco?
@@amandahoying9461 just about 3 weeks ago. Not very long ago. I love this thing.
My mom’s a member….ill ask her if we have them here in ohio!
Absolutely brillant ! Loved your video thank you for sharing all this 🎉
What a fantastic middle name! New subscriber here, I love all your projects and you’ve emboldened me to try new colour combinations and conversions for my projects.
I found you by Anna, Stitch Roadie's
New subscriber, and I must say….beautiful stitches!!! I’m going to try the petite treasure braid!
Thanks for that. Great idea with the box from Costco. I love your stitching video was great… thank you.
You are truly an inspiration and I so love watching your channel. Thank you for sharing your beautiful content and stitching. I can't wait to follow along with your progress.
I am in awe of your courage in changing up projects to suit you....maybe someday...
Awww thank you!
Great idea buying that bench box
What fabric you used for the Hawk land? Beautiful
Thank you! It’s Natures Dance from Fabrics by Stephanie.
Love it that you do conversions. I hardly ever do what the charts call for. And I love working with silks.
I enjoyed your wip parade! And seeing your fabric haul. Such lovely pieces. I am currently using the Victoria Clayton silks on a project. It's my first time using silks and I love them. I would like to try more. What other brand of silks would you recommend for a Mirabilia. I don't want them to be too heavily variegated though. TIA
Definitely no variegated floss. I stick to Rainbow Gallery Splendor because its satin sheen and color saturation looks fantastic when paired with a Mirabilia. I think others like Soie D’Alger or even NPI would work but it would be at a bigger cost initially because you’d have to buy more than one skein per color in many cases. I stitched Gypsy Queen with Splendor and never had to buy more than one card per converted color. Good luck choosing your conversion! Thanks for watching!
Beautiful wips! ❤
Always enjoy your videos and watch as soon as I get the notification. Beautiful pieces and love your fabrics. Steph
That Bella is gorgeous! Love seeing haul and WIPs. ❤
Love your WIPs.
Fantastic again!! Love your pieces and sparkly style! Thanks again for doing your WIP Parade, I know it's a lot of work. :)
❤❤❤
❤❤❤
You got some really beautiful fabrics!❤
So glad to hear your mom is doing well. You actually accomplished so much this month! Stitch what you feel like, when you feel like it. Also, if you did show some of what you've kitted, I would love to hear your thought process for how you convert fabrics and flosses for specific projects - its my favorite part of your videos. Hope you get to go on vacation soon!
I like how you emphasized prioritizing yourself first, doing what captivates you most and not just reaching unrealistic stitch deadlines and obsessing over producing volume.
Thank you! I used to model stitch, deadlines are too stressful and I already have enough of those in my everyday work life, as everyone does. Stitching should be something savored and enjoyed thoroughly! Thanks for watching and for the lovely comment❤️
Such beautiful fabrics and such wonderful projects. Another fabulous video.
Loved seeing all your wips. I like the way you use colors and all the bling:) Everything was beautiful!❤
❤❤❤
I really enjoy your channel, you do the most beautiful patterns. Thanks for sharing.
So glad I found you on youtube. I love all you do - those splendor conversions are wonderful, you have me tempted to start collecting them. Your husband sounds like a hoot - Dragon June for sure. I hope your mother continues to recover well. Enjoy your well deserved vacation in a few weeks.
Glad I caught it and could help. No worries. We all say one thing when we’re thinking of another. By the way, your Mira’s and your fabric selections are superb!!! Really enjoy your videos, and love your wips and your FFO’s are to die for!!!!
Just to let you know, you said the silks4u was pr161, but it’s actually pr181!!!
Is it! Crap…. Sorry! Thank you for catching that and I promise to fix that
Loved this!!! 😍 Thank you for sharing!!!
Welcome to flosstube! I love so many of your projects! I'm also working on a piece from 2x2 stitch art. I'd never seen Sun Goddess before but she is breath taking! Happy stitching 💜
Thank you Gor sharing all your beaut finishes. I gave a framed to recommend, L&M Framing are located in Cincinnati and I have had several pieces framed by them. They are very easy to work with. I have been very happy with them.
So happy to have found you today. I'm also a huge fan of A Stitching Shop and I love how you play with colors, floss and fabric.
Thanks for sharing your projects. Very inspiring. I haven’t started a Mirabilia yet but I think it will happen soon.
Feldspar has turned into one of my favorites. When I saw it online, I wasn’t been impressed. My mom bought me 1/2 a yard when she was a a store one year, then when I was at Shepherd’s Bush, between the two of us, we took the last yard they had at the time of 32ct. It was so different from the other Feldspar she had bought. Yours is way different from any I’ve seen, much more gold. Thus the nature of hand dyed fabric…lol. I used my Sheperds Bush version for Mira’s LOTF white conversion she looks like she’s and Angel coming out of the sky with her flag.
I bet it’s beautiful!
@@sharebearstitcher she is. Of course, having Rensel frame her helped add those perfect finishing touches..lol. Like you, I’ve been using Jill since before she found Amber, although this one did have Amber’s magical touches
I just found your floss tube and I loved it! Loved all your projects and your kitted Mira’s are stunning! Looking forward to more videos soon!
I'm behind on my stitch watch, but I wanted to say I'm sorry to hear about your Mom. I keep you'll in my prayers. I love a Stiching Shop! I'm in the Springs, and they are so helpful there. Take care and safe travels.
Loved all your projects! I'm going to do Snow Queen. I love your pick for the fabric! Do mind repeating who you got it from and the name of it? I've purchased linen 3 times for Snow Queen and never quite have the "perfect" one!
Thank you! It’s from Under the Sea Fabrics. Leslie is the owner and this is one of her hand painted fabrics called Hades Realm. Glad you liked it!
@@sharebearstitcher Thank you! I just found you--now subscribed! Love everything!
Hi, Sherry! I am just blown away by all your by projects and gorgeous framing! By the way, the “B” on the Lightly Salted fabric is from BeStitch Me. 🙂 I am so sorry for your loss. Your remarks about stitching being so wonderful for our spirits are so true…thank you. ♥️ Meline
Sherry, I am in awe! Your third video popped up in my feed today, but I wanted to start from the beginning, so I watched this one first…your color choices for fabrics and threads are just splendid! I enjoyed your “visit” so much, and am looking forward to catching up on the rest. Thank you for sharing your talents with us. Just beautiful! 🧜🏿♀️ Meline
