I have been trying to research and find the dimensions and weight online but no luck. Do you have this information available? Thanks
Thank you. I struggle to put the plow back on. The RTV 520 brush guard gets in the way. It takes some maneuvering to get it lined up just right.
Brush guard makes putting on plow a pain in the rear
Thanks a lot. I own a 2019 BX 1880 with a pin Bucket only because I am unable to get the quick attach system at this time. Will this plow system attach to my tractor simply by removing my FEL which only takes about 2 minutes or less
hey buddy, yes it will. The loader type wont make a difference on the plow installation sop long as the loader is removed from the loader mounts when installing the plow/frame if I'm reading your question correctly. Funny seeing you here, I was checking out some videos as I debated building my own front plow setup this year.. Either that or finding a nice used front plow (this model). I like to change it up each year using different plows to keep things interesting... Last year I used the Artillian FEL plow as you prolly remember.
@@BiffsEquipment Thanks but since I sent you this comment I was finally able to get the skid steer type quick attach system on my 1880 so all possibilities are now open. I end up pushing back the roadside snowbanks as I have 3 mailboxes to keep clean and for a snowplow to shove the banks back I have simply filled my FEL bucket with snow and use it to just push it onto the yard and it works great but. now I'm thinking of getting a small plow to do the same thing. Looking forward to Part 4 on your shop build.
Your the first guy to show close up of putting the pins back in the lock holes. Good video, thanks...
How do you set or adjust the blade? When putting an angle on the blade it digs in.
Did you get Answer?
No. I just figured it could ge adjusted.
I just figured it could not be adjusted.
Thank you. Exactly what I needed!
How did you get the quick attach hitch on the tractor without taking off the deck and the cradle? Every time i put my plow and hitch on I have to take those two things off. I would really love to know how you did that.
He was able to install the plow frame to the tractor with the mower deck in place because if you watch carefully in the video the cradle to the mower deck was already removed prior to the video.. The belly mower was still mounted at the backside pins under the tractor but so only the front cradle was removed from the deck.
Thanks.. Good job making it look as easy as it should.
Nice. Just got a used L3301 with backhoe; so I appreciate you taping this tutorial.
It doesn't look like the hoses are color coated.
The color rings are on the dust caps installed by the dealer or yourself.
Do they make one for B2320?
Yes they do make one for the b2320
Thanks for making this process so straight forward. To the point, good directions, and no messing around.
Can the whole unit be easily installed and removed without taking it apart like you did? Plus... I think you got your colors all mixed up. What am I not seeing? Thanks!
I'm sure it would be possible though it wouldn't be much fun trying to lift the plow frame up and off the front of the tractor frame while the weight of the plow is still attached. As for the color coding on the hydraulic hoses he had color coded zip ties on the ends of the rubber coupler caps signifying separate color coordination for the plow lines only.
Thanks. This really helped with my blade assembly and hook up on my BX1860. I did notice some assembly differences from the manual.
no it doesn't if you use the kubota brand.
Does this setup need a crossover relief valve for the angel cylinder in case you hit something?
If it did it would either be in the plow cylinders itself or attached somewhere to the plow frame.. I'm guessing it doesn't have a relief though as most tractor plows don't and its very rare to bend a plow cylinder on a tractor plow... More than likely you'll bend the plow or the plow frame first.
