We are saved by the Grace of God through the finished work of His Son on the Cross, for everyone who believes. Not by perfection and how many sins you confess, my sins are forgiven, past present and future.

I very much understand what you are saying. I have tried and tried to receive Jesus. I have been to confession numerous times, with mainly the same sins. I thought the Holy Spirit would help me with this, but I don't feel him near me. I don't think he answers my prayers. I feel as though I am talking to the wall. I have met people who have been born again. Some will say with the help of the Holy Spirit. I do not understand how this is supposed to work.

Thank you for your Sermon, it got me thinking....I've asked the Lord to help me and guide me, apart from him I'm can't do nothing, I've confessed my sins over and over and if there inner sins inside of me that I'm not aware of I've asked for Him to pluck them out. I can't do this on my own, it's impossible for me but possibly for Jesus. Pray for me my dear brother in Christ and once again thank you for the sermon, God bless.
