Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band: “Prove It All Night” Wrigley Field Chicago, Aug. 11, 2023
This was only my third Springsteen concert, and the span between them has been significant. The best concert I ever saw was The Boss in 1985, when he was 35 years old, in front of some 60,000 fans at Soldier field, a 4.5 hour marathon that he repeated at three more sold-out shows the next three nights. I was 15 and hooked forever.
Saw the band again around 2000 at The United Center and again here at Wrigley Field.
Different this time, for me anyway,
was Springsteen playing more guitar solos, fewer stories (but the ones he told were personal and touching as always), a killer 15 min. jazz jam where every backup singer and horn player got a chance to solo up front, and of course Jake Clemons ...

I’m so proud of my daughter for her amazing performance! I’m so happy I was able to be there to watch this. Her dog’s name is, Vannucci. So she’s a little bit of a fan lol
What happened to the sound
Yeah what happened to the sound there? It was an older iPhone at the time. I replaced it with a new one and that doesn’t happen anymore. Hannah played the song perfectly. So cool The Killers do that most every show.
Hannah did a good job on playing bass for The Killers. 👍🏻😊.

Sorry this is late, but if I remember correctly, everything is tuned a halfstep down. Don’t remember for sure, but I remember it starts on the 7th fret

I really wanna do thiswhen the killers come to my hometown . I'm new to the bass and can pretty much play this song easy. What exactly is a slide down. Like just slidding down from like the 7 on low E down to like 1??

Of course, this cover is far from accuracy in terms of the feel of the original song. But I still salute these kids. HYSTERIA is a very difficult song. Considering they are just kids - inexperienced musicians - making this bold attempt and then playing “LIVE”, they did a good job. Loved it. Rock on.
I was at this one. Easily one of the top live shows I've ever seen. So flippin good. Those moving triangular displays? Some really trippy stuff going on. And the whole band was just on point!

I guess the most amazing thing about this is in most concerts, if not all of them, the fan takes on the drumming role. Here Hannah goes her own way and plays bass - essentially perfectly. Kudos for an amazing job.
That is my daughter on stage. I was in the front row watching and it was the most amazing night! I’m so proud of her🥰

Why on earth would you go to a concert to fight. NEVER, ever seen that behaviour at any concert I have attended and I saw the killers twice at the O2 in London last year. Love Brandon
It’s when people have to much to drink and the people that can’t handle the drink gets rude. Id hate to see or be next to a fight at a killers concert there my fave band id love to enjoy every moment ♥️
