Toyota Supra - Tomei Expreme Ti Exhaust - Twin Turbo
JDM Mk4 Toyota Supra with full Tomei Expreme Ti exhaust (midpipe, adapter, and catback). Stock twin turbos, first catalyzer left in place, then full Tomei all the way back. I threw in some photos from Tomei's website to help show what they have available for the Supra, and what is underneath this one.
A lot of people requested more sound clips, so I did my best to get as many angles as possible. Hopefully ya'll like them and the video! Leave a like if you did!

Twin Turbo JZA80 with Tomei Expreme Ti exhaust. Comparison between Catback only and full Tomei (midpipe, adapter, catback).
Thank you for putting in the tedious work for us to make the best decision for our car. Im sure it took a bit of work to compile the video. Much appreciated.

CEL on the mid pipe?
Nope. Haven’t had any issues with that. Do you have the OEM down pipe / CAT 1, or do you have an open down pipe off the turbo that mates up with the Tomei? If the latter, maybe that’s the issue? I kept the OEM down pipe and CAT 1 to help prevent over-boosting since I have the original turbos.
@@RZ_Supra no no I’m only asking cause I’m headed to Misawa in a few weeks and recently purchased a stock 99 Turbo Supra and wanted to know if it caused any issues. Gonna pop her cherry with the Tomei
@@sandz2798 Oh!! Heck yeah! First off, congrats on snagging the Supra. Putting the Tomei on is the BEST thing I’ve ever done to mine. Also, if you won’t have a garage, get a really good car cover. It snows a CRAP TON. Misawa is amazing (and Japan in general). Hands down the best 4 years of my career - and probably even of my life so far. The base has the tendency to make you hate being there… but just try and ignore all that nonsense. Travel everywhere in Japan that you can. Every spot is different, which is so cool. I regret not doing that more. DRIVE YOUR SUPRA TO MT FUJI. Big regret not doing that one… And follow that up with a Daikoku Circle meet. That’d be a badass lifelong memory.. WORLD CLASS snowboarding/skiing all around Misawa. And eat everythinggggg. Can you tell we miss living there pretty freakin badly? Haha.
hey bro, your videos directly influenced me to get the whole Tomei set for my rz. Sounds great, not too loud. Now I just gotta do bpu and upgrade to the turbo brakes. You ever had the na brakes?
Very happy to hear that my videos helped! That’s the whole reason I made them in the first place since I knew I was one of the first few to have the Tomei. Unfortunately I have not dealt with N/A brakes, so I’m probably a bad source of info for that.. However, I have read that the swap is pretty straightforward!
@@RZ_Supra yup the na brakes definitely suck, still debating on a big brake kit or just the turbo brakes. No race track in Oahu, so BBKs would be mostly to look cool. How are the turbo brakes?

How were able to order the exhaust? I can't find anyone site that ships to japan
I ordered mine right when it released, so before the whole “covid” stuff went down. Maybe that affects it somehow? If you’re in Japan, I’d just call Tomei directly! I bet they’d find a way to help you out.
@@RZ_Supra through the tomei website? I've been told that tomei split and so tomei USA is different from tomei japan that's what the guy told at the actual tomei store,
What kind of down pipe do you have? Getting a tomei exhaust in just worried it won't fit the stock down pipe
Awesome video. Is this with the Tomei midpipe installed as well? I am thinking about going the same route with my stock twins but wasn’t sure about the midpipe.
Yup, complete Tomei system. From the 1st cat right off the turbos, it goes into the Tomei midpipe, the 4" adapter, and then obviously the "cat-back" section. Definitely recommend getting the midpipe and coupler! It really makes the sound a lot better and deeper. Buy the full system, you will not regret it, I promise!

What did you do with the rear o2 sensor? i heard theres no bung fitting for it on the tomei mid pipe.
Well, tbh I didnt have one to worry about. My car came with an HKS Super Dragger catback. I simpy cut that nasty thing out and installed all the Tomei stuff. Maybe being a Series 1 JDM Supra makes a difference?? Otherwise, I have no idea..
@@RZ_Supra cool, i got a 93 rz and probably going with tomei. My apexi rs evo is too quiet lol. i heard you'd get a check engine light if i took out the rear o2, yours is fine?
@@jimmy396jimmy Yeah no issues for the past year. I've got another video coming with MUCH MUCH better clips. Got some inside and outside shots. But, I am no professional and I work full time so I've been slow lmao

A question without assumption. Is this exhaust with a all stock twin turbo supra with no cams? If so it sounds great. I have VWR 4" dp&mp with 264cams. Waiting for some video/sound updates from you before I pull the trigger. Not sure If I wana get just catback since I already have my current setup.
Its just a BPU car. Stock turbos, HKS air intake, Blitz front mount intercooler, stock downpipe/1st cat. Everything from there back is Tomei. My two cents.. Just order the Tomei cat back and see how you like it. If you end up wanting more it'll only take you an hour to throw in the Tomei midpipe and coupler. The cat back sounds so good by itself.. Totally worth.

Tor-Anders Ringnes The cat right behind the turbo’s is still in, the midpipe + cat was deleted.
Do you know how much the sound will be when you remove the first cat after turbos?
Tor-Anders Ringnes I imagine it’ll be just a little bit deeper/growly and likely a lot more aggressive in high rpms

Thanks for the video, I am contemplating this exhaust with and without tomei midpipe so your video really helped. Did you also get the midpipe adaptor?
poroussi Yup! The midpipe and adapter were installed together. In my opinion, if you’re going with the midpipe you might as well get the adapter to eliminate that bottle neck. I love the Tomei, especially with the midpipe. Highly recommend.
Does the exhaust drone? Will it cause a headache if daily driving? Is it too loud in your opinion?
Peter Wallace I don’t feel like it drones too badly at all. If it does I just shift gears. I’m gonna do a driving video once the winter weather clears up. Stay tuned
RZ Supra Any update? I actually bought this exhaust recently and getting my car back from the tuner next week- can’t wait to do a video too
