It takes sooo much time to measure, cut, double check,etc. Everything is slower when you've never done it before. How long does it take a professional to do this? Certainly not a whole day just to cut and measure some tile?

Back to tiling. Frist time tiling 12x24. Tiling itself is not so hard, getting everything level (prep job cut) is the hardest part. I had to readjust the first row Support so many times. Hopefully we will be a bit faster for the remaining tiles

Finally!! Disclaimer this a a first timer tiling job. It is just me sharing my experience doing it. Not so hard. But lots of prep job. And the cutting during tiling was stressful because the thinset was drying already. And I did not want to waste

No time for tiling during weekday. But I can do some drywall mudding. On the second and final coat for walls and second coat for corners. Around the door frame, I used this plastic thing mesh tape to secure a bit.

Finally tiles are out. Just choosing the layout, where to cut, how to align with all the accessories, took longer than expected. Having a seems to require more planning, no wonder some contractor just discarded the idea

1:49 Looks like you need to shift the tiles more up and down in order to collapse the grooves and eliminate air voids. Would be a good idea to remove a tile just after placing it to verify complete mortar coverage and that the trowel notchrs are the proper size for the tiles. 2:22 Not sure why you switched from horizontal grooves to vertical. There is no space to shift the second tile left and right to collapse the grooves.
I did try to remove a tile (not on film) and I couldn't. It was so hard to remove I was afraid to break the tile. I found it easier to wiggle left to right than up and down. Indeed it was not ideal on the second left tile. :( Thanks for the feedback.

Don't pick the weed out like this. The tap roots are much longer than dandelions. You need to dig them out

Indeed. A bit disappointed by that but it's alright from far away
Business next door to me has them. And their black. I can see all of their workers taking breaks in the alley and they can see me. Trust me... it's a waste of money in my situation. Zero privacy. And I have a hot tub. Never use it because of this.😢
They can be brought with the percentage of privacy that you want. They appear to be 75% privacy you can get 100% privacy.
