Ski Patrol Saves The Day. Snowbasin, Utah

After dropping my phone and watching it slide off a cliff. I hiked up from below and couldn't find it. Then I skied down and got Ski Patrol to help me. Having another phone to call mine to hear where it was ringing was the ticket. Thanks to Kyle Galinat.

Skiing Snowbasin on a flat light day, I found these two young men that were lost, cold and scared. I showed them the lay of the land, got them to ski hard to warm them up and built up their confidence so that they can finally get a date.

Snowbasin Utah, The Diamond. Fresh powder the two days before and then the wind blew and filled in all the tracks, making for a clear, smooth and fast morning.

Where is this exactly?
Montezuma Canyon just east of Blanding, Ut.
Maybe a scout post? There's no kiva to suggest domestic habitation and the risk of climbing to and from makes it apparent that no families lived here. That in combination with the placement being right on a ledge suggests it was used for military purposes, but who knows. Is this still accessible or would the rangers stop an explorer to be?
@@mauricious7882 You can hike there.
If not for the music I would have subscribed.
I've improved my style over the years. Thanks for warching
horses here before Columbus came along
I just read that Columbus brought the first modern horses to the Americas.
Mustn't touch it.😊
How would people survive without phones!! Lol
Crazy woman
I am not crazy
What kind of snake was that??😮

Thanks for saving this lovely creature.
Thanks. We've done it before.
Looks like you were bothering a snake on the hiway 😂

Geeze, offer to buy the patroller a beer. Better, yet, take a case to the Patrol Room. They will appreciate it. I am a patroller and we don't take tips or rewards but we will take beer.
I gave him the 6 pack.
Love your sense of humor!
Thanks, and thanks for watching.
So where is the treasure asshole???
No problem. You guys should see them resort on a sunny day.
Amazing day skiing! Thanks for showing us around
Oh yeah, great day with you guys. I put a video on my channel from that day.
Hey Derek! Joey here, you showed me around Snowbasin on March 3rd. I was wondering if you had any footage from that day?
Did you see the video I put on?
Just saw!
chuncks off the side yikes. Cool vid
We know not to watch your video's again as the title is very misleading
I've got a bull tag for Monroe, just got back from hunting the koosharem side seen a couple good ones but couldn't get in on them without spooking them. I'm heading back down Monday by any chance could you tell me what area you took this video in would be much appreciated.

That’s a beast with his harem
Very nice bull
No,, they didn’t nothing,,, ever one these miners say They Found It,, BS
Some gold came to belize
Hey man! Love your videos. My son and I will be spending some time near Montezuma creek this fall and we plan to do some exploring while we're there. I was wondering if you could point me in the direction of the "stone henge" site. This place looks awesome and I'd love to see it for myself, but I'm not having much luck finding it with google satellite view or other forums online. Looks like you drove a little further after shooting some video at three kivas to get to the site. Any info would be really appreciated. Thanks for the great videos! Keep em coming!

Wow that’s pretty cool.
The Stone hedge, you were talking about, I have been there many times. I say a, Sun Calander. The tower is to the east side, when the sun comes up, it would cast its shadow in, or between the upright rocks, running N and S letting them know the season and moons they were in. The treasure is the canyon. Please respect the area. The Spirits are still watching over it. I studied the area for 23 yrs.
That's aliens and their spacecraft. Obviously!😂
"John Wayne is that you... Is this me"
I can't wait to finish to ask are you noticing that pyramidal shaped hill in the backdrop?
I believe it is just a natural formation.
Nice to see you posting again. What a beautiful day up there.
The real treasure in treasure hunting is all of the signs of history found, not the treasure itself.
If searching for a treasure such as Montezuma Treasure or lost mines such as the Dutchman's Gold Mine or Spanish Treasure or mines, then learning the physics involved in dowsing is the most valuable prospecting tool that can be used. Read and study the book, The Art of Dowsing - Separating Science from Superstition ($14.95), which explains the physics used in dowsing and how to build the modern light weight ball bearing dowsing rod. Then become a professional dowser by practicing the book's dowsing lessons. The Montezuma Indians dowsed for locating precious and base metals, and the Spanish located all of the sought metals and minerals of the New World by using two people with dowsing rods that are known as Spanish Needles. I hope dowsing enriches your life and have a safe, healthy, good day.
El Nombre correcto es MOCTEZUMA….take note:……..
I don’t believe it
That was fun! What's with the glass windows in the rock at the end. Is that someone's house!?
Yes, modern day cliff dwellers. Thanks for watching.
They founds rocks lol
Where is the treasure, excuse me???????
The hills at the 9 minute mark look like step pyramids .
Good eye, but I'm sure that is just the lay of the land. You can see the different layers that have been exposed by erosion over the years.
You didn't find shit
Thank you for sharing! I want to do this next spring and this is educational and will help keep me safe. Thanks again.
You made me nervous crawling around up there. You found the penthouse apartments in the Bears Ears NM.
Good to see you're watching. Let me know if you want to hike/crawl there.
If you want someone to hunt with, give me a call. LMAO
This is a joke channel? Right!
Awesome video! Tell Momma she is beautiful!
Beautiful area. Thanks for sharing.
