It really is a hard decision to make between the two, they're both so good! For me, I liked the sweetie party set more, I found their clothing quality was better and I liked more of the characters from that set. I'd recommend counting how many characters you love the most from each set and then go with the set with more characters you really love 🌸

Thanks for watching! I like the Lunar New year one, but I think the mid-autumn festival one is probably my favorite from the whole first wave of the Liroro BJDs. I love that Simontoys makes festival themed dolls, I'm really looking forward to what they release next ☺️

@@HoneyMintTea I got her when she first came out, she was a little more than the blindbox Liroros. I think I paid about $25 not including shipping. She was a limited release though so she's only available on second hand markets now for probably closer to $40

Yes, me too! Love these colors and the ability to mix and match to customize the dolls is such a great concept. I was excited whent these first came out and got the full pack asap. I'm surprised they didn't have a longer period of time to be sold. They might be on AliExpress, but I agree they do seem hard to find now.

My buttons are still on, but mine are just on display so I don't feel like it's any kind of testament to them being on there good. From what I've seen of other people's dolls it seems like if the buttons do risk falling off it will happen pretty quickly, but most of them seem to be glued on well enough.

She definitely embodies strawberry pastries haha. I've been looking at Nendoriods for awhile but nothing really jumped out to me till I saw this doll. It's great that there are so many different Nendoriods from various media, I think I'll eventually get a regular nendo of some characters I like. Which ones did you just get?

Another nendoroid that I have that are different and use magnetic design for the arms and legs is the Kirby ones and cinnamaroll.🥰I’m really excited about the sumikko gurashi nendoroid 🤩

Secrets are hard to get! Though, this one actually isn't a secret, Velvet Rose was sold as a limited release during the fundraising campaign for Bonnie Sweetheart Party. Sweetie Fox is the secret from this series, they both have the same hair mold

I bought these awhile ago directly from Simontoys. Unfortunately this hair series isn't in production anymore, there's a newer set of different colors. I'd suggest looking on AliExpress from reputable sellers, typically they'll range about 10-14 USD a piece.

They have two Chinese based webstores. I use their official Taobao store and buy through the proxy Superbuy

I think the pink one is probably my favorite out of this set. And for Penny's Box doing something similar, I've heard that they are planning on releasing a similar blind bag of hairstyles based on their mermaid hair molds. I really like the ability to mix and match and hope to see more options like this in the future.

Ohh I haven't seen Madoka Magical, but it's on the watchlist. This is a little bit of an oldder outfit and I think the quality has improved over time. I definitely am with you on the preference of sewn down embellishments vs glued on. Like this outfit has glued on buttons and I kind of don't like that, might go in and see them down myself haha. And I'm so sorry to hear the UF dolls have glued on pieces that are falling off! Hopefully their next line won't have that problem

Yeah I was so glad there were no strings and that it was such a smooth process dressing her in this outfit. I think of all the 1/12 blind box bjd dolls that Simontoys outfits are maybe the best quality. Though, I do have to agree with you that the witch's socks from Penny's Box were pretty good quality and easy to put on ❤️

Oh that's great, the angel Bonnie is so cute and sweet! It's great that she's fairly easy to get, I was worried her release would be more limited. The starry night chapter all have such comfy looking outfits 🎀

I feel like with the amount of different bright colors they had mixed in it gave the series a Sweets Shop vibe more than a cafe/bakery which is what I think it was supposed to be. The vibrant colors are fun, and I can't wait to see what they do for their next addition to the Bonnie series 😄

I ordered her directly from Simontoys during her limited time release. She isn't available through them anymore, but sellers on sites like Aliexpress might have some of her for sale. And the Liroro Summer Island series is still available for purchase through retailers like Kikagoods or Janesdolland.

What is the Simon Toys website? I couldn't find any other sellers except for kika goods, and no listings except JP Amazon :( I understand this doll may have been sold out but next time they do a special release I want to make sure I'm on top of it

Sorry for the late response. So I bought this from SIMONTOYS shop on Taobao through a proxy. It's a complicated process for buying them. If you don't want to go through all that trouble, AliExpress sellers will typically resell them. I think this one was selling for about $45 USD

For the unboxing videos I skip the dressing to keep it shorter and to the point, but I have considered doing more in depth reviews for specific dolls or brands and include dressing and further examination of the clothes in those videos. This doll was a limited release doll during autumn. I bought her directly from Simontoys using a proxy, but she probably has listings available on AliExpress. The regular line of Liroro dolls can be bought from vendors like Kikagoods or Janesdolland. Around the $20 price for the Liroro Summer Island series. And these are 1/12 scale, or ob11 dolls. Their clothes are interchangeable with nendoroid dolls, except that the Liroros are on the taller end for the 1/12 scale so nendo clothes will be short on them or their clothes will be long on the nendos.

I could see them doing other festival dolls with different color schemes. Maybe we will get to see a new years one for the year of the dragon. It'd be cool if they did one with a different hair mould for more variety lol. And sunny sky is such a nice way to describe the color pallet 🌞

Thank you! Eccentric Dreams is a real cutie :D One of my favorite things about Penny's Box dolls is how easy it is to switch parts out between the different series'. I wonder if they will do a theme with darker colors after this latest pastel one to mix things up, I think a lot of people would appreciate that.

Yeah something like nightmares would be a good theme. They are going to release a mermaid bjd and a deer centaur bjd at some point, I could see them doing some nature themes with those line.

I didn't even think to film them without the collar, but I did mess around with them after the video and tried it. There is a small gap between the head piece and body piece, it's pretty small but definitely visible. A small string tied into a bow could work great if someone didn't want it wearing the ruffle collar. The green one is so cool, it really stands out from the color scheme of all the rest! And I love the pearlescent tail one, too.

The fox pet doesn't always come with the Red Fox character, but from what I've seen others share most people (I'd guess 80%) get the fox pet paired with the Red Fox character. You are guaranteed to get one fox pet with a full box purchase, but you can also buy the pet by itself from people selling it second hand. There is also a 3 pack blind box for the little foxes for about $15 and they are all very cute and can be mixed and matched.
