Really enjoying your videos x
Looks great mate -well done
Looking brill chris come along way since ya started cant wait to taste some of the produce 👍
What a transformation, well done guys
I like your optimistic spirit and hope your hard work is rewarded. Cheers.
You have done an amazing job guys 👍👍, can’t wait to see more from the plot. Have a wonderful weekend, Ali 🌞🥵🇨🇦
Followed you over from the golf channels. We used to have an allotment but had to give it up as it was just SO much work!
Followed your suggestion on James's golf site to have a quick look at your allotment. No interest at all in gardening! But the improvement in your plot is outstanding. Really respect your dedication to roll your sleeves up and create a viable site , keep it up
As someone once said in another video- ‘delightful’ 😂
Yes we've done the same...A brilliant job....
Great video first one of your videos I watched hit the subscribe👍
great work very nice progress
How do you plan ahead for winter veg at the same time growing for the summer and autumn.
That’s currently something we are thinking about. I have seen that a lot of people plant winter crops once the summer ones are harvested. We are thinking of doing this when we take up our new potato’s in the next month
You’re doing amazing some people take years to accomplish what you have in a season. Have a marvellous week ahead and happy gardening 🧑🌾 season, Ali 🌞🇨🇦
Thanks Ali, glad you are enjoying the progress 👨🌾
Invest in a comfrey spot.Saves a fortune on commercial fertilizer.
Brilliant progress 🥇A lot of hard work by you both .
Youv done a lot of work its looking great.
If only you supported United like james I’d say you were quality 😂👍👍👍. WellDone. No gardening desire but like watching this. 😢 just don’t celebrate cultivation too soon. Like an arsenal fan would 😂😂
Try some chicken wire.
Looking fab Chris, 😅 is Emilee an invisible friend. Have a fab week guys, Ali 🌧️🇨🇦
Well done Chris and Emilee, not a gardener myself but enjoying your journey together.
One revenue stream would be to grow cress for Bobby's egg and cress sandwiches. 😂
Love it 😂! I’ve just told him the good news and that he can set up a monthly direct debit 👍🏻
Need more Radley!!!
😂 I keep saying starters are the way to go a) cheap enough b) already established and c) I don’t need 300 broccoli 🥦 and yet I still by loads of seed 🤦🏼♀️. Everything is looking great in the garden and you should have some amazing harvests. Have a super weekend, Ali 🌥️🇨🇦
Bizarrely interesting despite me never going to grow anything
Emilee seems to be doing the bulk of the work, Chris the bulk of the chat
Set a camera up and/or a trap. Still time to replace the brassicas that got eaten.
Rats normally will go under the nets not chew it but either way that is awful. I have issues with squirrels 🐿️ eating my tulip bulbs 😡 but the rabbits are stopped by the fence. You may need a trail cam to check what it is. Hopefully you get it under control, Ali 🌞🇨🇦
Chris I would most likely believe that it could be a squirrel with the size of the hole I would not think it’s a rabbit.
Great content Chris, very interesting.
Slugs would be my guess. Nice frames!
I don’t worry about rotating, even Huw said he only does it if there’s an issue (like clubroot). Could be slugs or a mouse 🤦🏼♀️. Lots coming to life and that’s a great sign. If asparagus is new then I would not pick them at all, let’s them go to flower for this year at least. Hope it all goes well for you, have an amazing weekend, Ali 🌤️🇨🇦
Rhubarb chutney.
Looking good! But better get those brassicas covered up sharpish or the pigeons will have them...
I’m from California, explain “18-month wait list for allotment “
Allotments are smallish plots of land mostly owned by the local council. If you want a plot, then you have to apply and wait for a plot to become vacant. You then pay an annual fee to grow vegetables or flowers or whatever. As long as you pay the annual fee the plot is yours until you give it back. If you let the place become full of weeds the council can take it back off you
I love the lavender idea and I certainly hope your weather gets a bit better. Most things will survive you going away 😂 they won’t miss you as much as you’ll miss them. Have a super week and time away, Ali 🥶🌞🇨🇦
Maybe emilee may show 😂😂😂😂
Is there actually an Emilee 😜😜
Just found your channel! Going to catchup with your videos! Sorry I'm late to the party but good luck with your channel and plot! Danny 🌱
Welcome aboard 🪴!
I reckon first one pear second apple
ooh, I didnt realise Tesco sold plant pots like that, I'll have to have a look next time I go!
😅 great to finally start getting things in the ground. Jobs of building are necessary but it’s just way more fun planting. Hope the weather is kind Chris have a great time away, Ali ☔️🌦️🇨🇦
Rhubarb gin!
Woo hoo must be spring the tatties are going in 💪💪. Hello Bradley 😅. Yes you have really made strides Chris it’s looking great. Greenhouse is going to be such a game changer 🤭🤭 especially in pouring rain. Happy Easter and hi Emilee that was nice of you. Happy gardening, Ali 🌞🇨🇦
Great work
😂😂😂 my dog (Yorkie) isn’t allowed in the veg garden she decimates my beds. But he is a lovely lad to share the your allotment. There are always loads of jobs to do but your getting there for sure Chris. Soon enough hopefully it will just be super harvests. Have a great weekend and happy gardening, Ali 🌦️🇨🇦
You cant beat fresh tomatoes chris 👍
A lot of people think it’s not a good thing but I always suggest if it’s an option for new gardeners to buy starters until you get settled. It is all looking amazing Chris, you and Emilee will just have a wonderful place to grow. Have a wonderful weekend and happy gardening, Ali 🥶🌞🇨🇦
Coming along nicely chris 👍
You need to sow your Peppers and Chilli's as soon as possibl.
Thanks David, hopefully we are getting them in tomorrow or Wednesday
