Throughout 2023 MovingOTs are hosting a CPD session in which we will explore how the OT role can link with physical activity, movement and reducing inactivity. Not only will we learn together but we’ll also try out different exercises. Aimee and Jessie teamed up this month to demonstrate how the OT role can be combined with yoga and relaxation, but also how we can use our skills to make sure everyone can access and understand these techniques.

We are excited to share the independent evaluation report for the Prevention and Enablement Model in Essex. The report demonstrates how #OccupationalTherapists and Coaches are innovators using physical activity for individual and social transformation, championing whole system working, with a key role in the prevention agenda. The Prevention and Enablement Model is a partnership between Sport for Confidence, Active Essex and Essex County Council.
