Hey all, I'm Jekyll!
A little about me; I am currently a full-time Radiology student (studying medical/health science imaging, such as as X-Rays and MRI). When I'm not working or studying, I spend most of my time either playing D&D with friends or playing various video games. I mostly play Path of Exile, in which I make a multitude of different builds. Not all of these are builds I feel like sharing, but on rare occasions I may post something about them or share them in a discord, or, if I'm feeling creative, here!
I don't currently have my own discord set up, put you can usually find me floating around, and I'll always do my best to respond if you pm me (Discord is JekyllGamer#9910). You might also catch me floating around various twitch streams, either my own (twitch.tv/JekyllGamer) or some of my friends' (DapanoTV, Dezzle_Mane, and Z_Boub_)

If you're desperate for some catalysts but don't have nearly enough damage to deal with the insane amount of HP and defense metamorphs have in the current patch (3.20), fear not, because there is a simple way to cheese any combination of metamorph.

Edit for 3.19: The core uniques I used for this build were removed or changed since 3.15. Thanks for the great explanation! What about critical hit? Assuming Bob needs a 2.5M hit to get a freeze, but you have 500k average hit with a 500% crit multi. So, if you crit, you get over the threshold, right?
Average hit in PoB will calculate Crits into that average hit.
Does Temporal chain help increase freeze duration?
Unfortunately not- while it does increase how long the freeze lasts on the opponent, it doesn't assist in increasing freeze duration for the purpose of breaking the freeze threshold. If the resources in the video are a little out of reach, you might look at your jewels- you can get up to 16% increased freeze duration as (I think) a suffix on cobalt/viridian jewels, and maybe Crimsons, but I haven't checked for sure on crimsons.
exactly what i was looking for, thanks man, much appreciated <3, well explained, and i almost clicked off when the volume was so low, but man am i glad i didnt especially the example with "bob" is really cool and helpful, a lot of content creators talk about this stuff in an abstract way, but having an actual example with a name like makes it a whole lot easier to picture
