Payton Pritchard Hits 2 Half-Court Shots in the NBA Finals…
Bro i was looking literally everywhere for this shot. No way i just now see it 👏
Know Thibs doesn't want him making fouls or even shooting but if he's not more viscerally aggressive on the boards or gets his O numbers up, fans will think he can't do it or worse, doesn't "have it in him" to do so. Unfair as that may be (bc there are many ways to play great D other than blocking shots or battling under the basket that results in kept or extra possessions such as tapouts, blocking out your teammate's man so he can rebound the ball instead, etc), he's going to have to risk doing more even if instructed to remain in the "less is more" leashed mode Thibs seems to have him in. That means going Blake Griffin, Giannis and even Vince Carter hard to the basket with the intent of driving, jamming or stopping-and-popping with a short mid-range shot rather than only being the good soldier and returning the ball back to the guards or dunking on ally oops (that have not been forthcoming since most of his peers were traded away, I may add). It also means demanding the ball more (especially when he has position on someone) even from Brunson who doesn't share generously (partly bc his size limits his ability to lob, his speed doesn't let him blow by people to create 2-on-1's and bc he is risk-averse to TO so doesn't even try to thread the needle on the PnR which, as a result, ends with the most shot attempts off PnR screens and the fewest feeds to the roller), only really when stuck. He needs the numbers to establish statistical credibility not only to the fans (largely ignorant of both the nature of a well-played game, facts that are not obvious and easily led by big mouth haters that'll point out every mistake and forget every good if they've turned on you and the opposite bias if they haven't...) but to management (including that of other teams) if he wants a new contract after this season's up. Hope Thibs gives him 25 mins a game to replace ihart's stats and grow his game without immediate yanks but if that does not happen, again, he's still going to have to score and rebound to make sure other organizations see him after his contract's up at the end of this season. Jericho could shine playing on teams such as GS, DEN, IND, MEM, even OKC come to mind bc Sims would make a better fit on better running and passing teams than NY with more dynamic and spontaneous offenses (and conversely, less rigid, mechanical and one-man dependent O strategies) although perhaps, too, even with teams that'd use him in more specific-defined roles similar to the Knicks but less restrictively such as BOS or HOU where he could take and miss a shot without having to worry about displeasing the coach for trying to do more than the very hard and very important but very limited and really thankless at times (even sacrificial) role he (and all centers on that team) seems chained to in the Knick playbook. 6-8 points and 6-8 rebounds a game per 20-25 mins should be enough to make ihart's departure less painful (and good D, of course), but there's no reason why Sims shouldn't be a regular solid double-double man off the bench for NY or someone else...even if he's going to have to get angry (or get others angry) to do it.
0:10 First half court was on October 10th of 2005 preseason game.
pritchard mvp 2025
Not sure about the mix made for this soundtrack. Should've shown him locking down guards or really good O players (Harden,Brown,Tatum, etc) on the perimeter or trying to penetrate the lane; getting tough rebs in traffic & blocks and; some of his great individual defensive performances vs good or even great players like KD, Embiid, Jokic, Kessler, Claxton, Sengun, Green/Loony, Robert Williams lll, etc, thruout his brief career. I agree, though, still has alot of upswing. Hope the Knicks have learned or decided to play him to his strengths and advantages which currently they do not. He and Mitch Robinson have the least usage on O of all qualified players in the NBA.
@@vvv0521 I prolly should’ve put some defensive plays in here even though they’re hard to find
underrated
wait when did jamal hit a 69 footer? also andre miller had the shotclock buzzer beater the one in 2012 and the one in 06 vs the mavs.
@@isojoe125 It was preseason 2003 for Jamal. And those were the only ones I could find for Andre Miller. Miller also had a buzzer beater in 2005 a 41 footer vs Spurs, 2005 a 39 footer vs Clippers, and 2001 a 44 footer vs Celtics
@@BrunsonsBagHighlights ah ok
This is the second time he did it. The first one he did it against the Pacers and now he does it again against the Hornets.
The Smith dunk was impressive. I guess they just don't call travelling anymore.

0:46 THE GUY IS DRUNK BUT THERE HE GOES 😄😆😅😂🤣 I’m dead

Kaboom I love hearing that
wasn't a good 3 point shooter but hit big shots
one of the gayest players in nba history. Btw I been getting ready for school, which is why I haven't uploaded my videos yet. also what were your parameters for this vid?
Clutch in my definition is anywhere below 6 minutes when the score is 9 or less. And I used NBA.com player shooting splits.
@@BrunsonsBagHighlights nice, tatum trash
@@isojoe125 ik lol
@@BrunsonsBagHighlights some dummy on reddit thought he was the best player in the eastern conference as much as i think embiid is soft he still cooks gayson gaytum
@@isojoe125 best player in the east is Brunson, no I’m not biased. Embiid is soft as shit and can’t drop 30 without 10 free throws and Tatum is the second option on a championship team. Giannis MIGHT be better but Brunson is way more skilled
Toronto raptors longest shots plz

One of Kevin's best "sucked the gravity right out of the building" lines was for Keon Clark's epic tomahawk slam over Shawn Bradley.
this was in 2024?

They can do better with the buzzer. I bet they unpurposely choose that

can you do one of my video ideas i said pls

Yep, and Kukoc and Vince
do you have the issue where when you change the team or season a shot was in it removes the shot quarter selector?
Yep. Sucks doesn’t it?
@@BrunsonsBagHighlights might have to contact the website makers
@@isojoe125maybe, but it’s only a minor inconvenience.
Wouldn't necessarily call Antoine a big. Also rasheed could knock down some tough jumpers from deep but both weren't amazing percentage wise
I only called Antoine a big cause he mainly played PF and he was 6’9, that’s what I did for all players (hence why Peja is on here)
@HalfCourtCaptain I'm trying to do a series of like 10 or 12 20 minute videos of backcourt shots. I am debating on how I will obtain footage for these without downgrading the quality maybe there is a way download. Also nba league pass let's you watch any game since 2012 13
@@isojoe125I find most of these clips on yt or twitter. I wouldn’t know about anything with the quality.
I made it. I made it. Holy cow just sucked the batter outta my pancakes. Was able to watch Gus Johnsons then Kevin Harlans highlights with only 5% power on my phone....oh my, this is one for the ages
2 huge plays
Someone correct me if I'm wrong but that half out shot to start the video pushed the Golden State Warriors to over 120 points, which led to the entire arena getting free Chick Fil A. Not really Chick Fila A, but something similar at the time for the early 90's
You are totally correct (except for the Chick-Fil-A part in which they got free pizza) the shot counted but they didn’t get to 120, they were one point short (hence Tim saying “Aaaaaah” after the shot) Here’s an explanation (by Jim Fagan): ruclips.net/video/sxuhyA_71-0/видео.htmlsi=XYtOWGZPln75OFgt
I enjoyed this video
wow! i am currently holding a 2500000 dollar reward if anyone can find cuttino mobley's 69 foot three!
My favorite they didn't put in........"Is this the Dagger? (Kawhi's shot bounces 4 times then goes in) GAME.......SERIES.......TORONTO HAS WON!"

SOMEBODY STOP THAT MAN !!😂 😂😂
Where do you get your full games from?
I don’t, I just find clips, I’m trying to get the nbaplaymakers partnership but idk how that’ll go. But for some of them. I found the full game on RUclips lol
@@BrunsonsBagHighlights Got it, thanks and good luck with that
4:26 Boston sucks 💀
Go mavs
@@BrunsonsBagHighlights mavs in 6
did you find cuttinos 69 footer?
No. That shit is forbidden at this point lol.
@@BrunsonsBagHighlights i think if you get nba playmakers you can request it or something
@@isojoe125 yea I think so
@@BrunsonsBagHighlights do you use stathead for the older shots? its very interesting because sometimes theres glitches where it says a dunk is like 78 feet or something
@@isojoe125 yea I use stat head. Plus, that cuttino shot could be another glitch in the system cause there’s a lot of those (for example: Bradley Beal 54ft 3 pointer in 2017 that never happened)
