Is SA2 modded? Shadow’s animations actually look clean and fluid instead of just sped up

Radical Highway looks good, but I think Radical Highway looks better.

Unlike the other stages of Shadow Generations, this one, which had been shown most in advertisements and photos, was the worst adapted possible,The original Sonic Adventure 2 stage brings an atmosphere of a serious scenario that takes place mostly at night with dark and somewhat gloomy places, which goes very well with Shadow,But in Shadow Generations the stage became something completely different from what we were used to in the original phase, it can really be considered a "Black Doom distortion",The buildings were very poorly adapted, looking like they were recycled from the speed highway, as well as having a pile of crooked buildings one on top of the other,And I don't judge the scenario for having these differences, but Kingdom Valley also distances itself a lot from its version in 06, but it didn't lose the essence of the level that mixed everything good in a different way,But that didn't devalue the level, the aesthetics of this radical highway itself changes from a phase that takes place late at night to a phase at the beginning of the night with lively music and disproportionate lighting, the lack of things that refer to Adventure 2 is also evident, such as the buildings in Nights and the posters throughout the stage, we have the city escape in Sonic Generations,And this one managed to keep everything original that existed in the phase while the radical highway is lost right after entering the level and becomes something almost completely new, a layout made from scratch,I miss how the level was in adventure 2 and I still think that speed highway was the best adaptation of all highway stages and that radical in 3DS is even more faithful

I find it very interesting how Radical Highway was handled. Its clearly not the same location like how all the previous stages are handled, but rather a mirage created by Black Doom that distorts further and further as Shadow makes his way to the end of the level.

Why did this video blow up so much

I loved both of these versions. But what Shadow Generations really did was make me want a Sonic Frontiers style game where you play as Shadow. I mean so many of the animations and moves Shadow gets remind me of what Shadow would have had in that kind of game

I honestly feel like Shadow Generations did RH dirty. It’s based on the original stage rather than being an homage, like it should have been.

I like SA2’s animations way better. More fire on the boots and Shadow skates more than glides like Silver

This just reminded me that all the NiGHTS buildings were missing in Generations. I can understand the "Got Ring?" being removed but NiGHTS is something Sonic Team/SEGA owns. Funnily, you can still see highway signs mention other SEGA properties like Amigo for example.

Is the the dreamcast version? Shadow’s animations seem different

I was wondering why Radical Highway in Shadow Generations felt like it was missing something and this video made me realize what: The original felt like a red highway illuminated by a yellow city below. It is a VERY bright stage, despite being set at night, probably to make Shadow easier to spot. Generations' replaces most of the original lighting and replaces it with a red fog which makes stage elements start to blend together, meaning you're now able to occasionally lose Shadow when not boosting. I also think the emphasis on the warping background buildings, rather than the highway itself, loses some of the recognizability too.

Ok i wasn't expecting the delightful reveal i'm not sure how you have them if you don't have delightful installed but maybe another mod adds them as well? I know that they are not from farmers delight.

Hey its me the guy, the salmonberries are from delightful you can only really craft 2 recipes with them but they give a lot of hunger points as you discovered in the video so they are pretty good, Also if you combine the mod *Crockpot* with *Farmers Delight Compats* it will give you a recipe book it doesn't have the same functionality as you said in the video but its still pretty fun in my opinion also with the mod ceramic buckets you can get the clay/brick buckets and on a related note bricks look strange due to Immersive Weathering they retexture a few vanilla items to look more like the items that the mod adds.
