That's true Joyce, just wish that if you fill the mould, it could be easier on your hands and fingers, lol. I wish I could find those antlers in aSourh Africa. I love it. We have a lot of bucks with different horns. But not one as beautiful as that.. well, maybe kudu horns.. 😀

@@mariegarrison2494 Hi Marie. I only use Das or Jovi air dryclay with my "Mouldit" moulds, (they are made in South Africa) stuck them down with Gorilla cold glue. Then painted them with a local brand chalkpaint. Hope that helps? But you can use any mould you like. You can also use Acrylic paint if you can't get chalk paint. Happy crafting 😁

There is no hot water at home, it is freezing. I worry about the pipes bursting. I hate this place. How does one get well in strange places? I am trying and praying.

@@ArtwithAnnelie I never tried those. Maybe I could try it. I have found that using gorilla glue is kind of like Elmer's only stronger. You can make some 3D designs with just plain old Elmer's. I made some snowflakes with Ellie two weeks ago. She and I had white paper and I spread the Elmer's in a star pattern. She has never seen real snow. So she is looking at pictures. But she enjoyed painting the paper all light blue. The paint did not stick to the glue, and the snowflakes came out really pretty. Now I have them up on her wall of fame. She is only 4 but is showing a bent toward art. For that I thank God. Thanks Annelie. GBY

Hey Richie, you add the water while there still a very little bit of water left on the page (almost that moist stage before everything evaporates into the paper.) you can try it at different stages and see what happens. It pushes the water back to form a "circle". If there's too much water left, it will dissolve into that water. I hope it make sense. I will try and make a step by step in the new year?

Yes it is. But if you use craft paint, and you scrape it, it comes off. Chalk paint is fine without a primer. So if it's just for using it for a while, you can do it. For longterm I will put a primer on first.
