Dance of the Swans (P. I. Tchaikovsky)
played this during my 3rd year of high school spring concert, 1st bassoonist
I love the sound of this band!! We’re playing this in our band right now. I play 2nd (as an 8th grader) and the first clarinet player and I always exchange glances when she hits the high e (sophomore)
Freshie playing clarinet and its fun, but just so long
Sophomore playing 1st clarinet WHY DOES IT RANGE 4 OCTAVE WHAT WAS THE NEED 😨
Love it ❤❤
As the 1st bassoon part in HS, it was really fun with the solos in my section
what is the oboist doing😭
Actually if you watch the conductor the oboe was right, the percussionist was dragging when they were accelerating
@@xadielbenejan8274 im talking about in the woodwind trio
playing this today at my adjudication
update: we got a superior rating all across the board🤗
im in middle school and playing this piece gee is it hard but so much fun!
Freshman as a flute, I’d say this song was good and easy, plus got some really good parts with saxophone
Merci pour cette belle interprétation Bravo aux musiciens et au chef Je jouerais bientôt ce morceau de musique à la flûte traversière dans mon orchestre d’harmonie en France 😊
not gonna lie
ayyy ngl we need help with this piece
this was the most fun piece i ever played on tenor sax in highschool, so beautiful too
I'm a HS freshman and the only Tenor Saxophone in my band, it's safe to say I carry this song. Absolutely amazing song would recommend to any band!
What part are the cellos playing ? Tnx
I’m a freshman in high school and I’m playing the timpani for this piece ^^
We played this in the Western International Band Clinic with Frank Ticheli conducting the piece
No way!
Freshman playing tenor sax and love this piece, highly recommend
i’m doing this song too! i’m a clarinet tho and in 8th grade
timpani
Nul la clarinette mib
The endimg is very fun
It sounds better with those cellos and double basses joined in
Brings back so much memories when I played this pc in the concert. I’m a flutist
I played this last year in 7th grade was very fun think my band did very well
3:37 4:04 4:22 4:42
dudes voice cracked less than 20 measures in..... picccccolooooo
As a bass Clarinet player in my highschool band, I don't want to complain but my part is both boring and fun.
its better than on other pieces this one's fun
1:55🤩🙏🏻🙏🏻
I love to imagine that all of the comments are members of our HS’s band
piccolo part on this song is non existent 😭
69th like
As a 9th grader, I'm playing the second trumpet part, and I can say it's really fun. I would recommend this piece to any band.
As an 8th grade trombone player this song kills my jaw
Oh yeah and my shoulders 💀
I’m playing this right now and I’m a freshman
Freshman trombone here, fun piece to play but a little boring. I like more of our fast-paced marches
I'm a freshman in high school and i play 1st trumpet for this piece and it is really fun and recommend to any other band who is considering playing this for a concert. Its also really cool to see another band with WAY more people and instruments than my band play this piece. also good job
cool!! i too am a freshman in high school who is trying to practice measure 49~57. finding it to be hard.
i’m a hs freshman and honestly this is the only piece we’re rehearsing that i actually like to play. i play clarinet (3rd part for this one) and it’s amazing to have a break (mostly) from playing in the upper register!
nah man first clarinet for this piece is so much fun
I played all parts, I enjoyed all but I do agree that first was the most fun :)
I'm a sophomore playing 1st clarinet WHY IS THERE A HIGH E.
samee and third is so much fun
I played this in school the other day
Same
Same
we gotta play this for lgpe.. 🧍♂️
The oboist you played very well
Love the clarinet part
Agreed
Me too
That's really cool Lava78!
Played this in middle school as the oboe. It's a very beautiful piece. This recovering of oboe part doesn't do it justice.
I thought it was just me but that oboe being out of time at the beginning threw me off. (Now that I listened to the whole thing that oboe player is out of tempo at some parts or maybe they just... changed the piece or smth)
@@hajimewss The oboe player at the beginning went way faster than anyone else, they were basically a beat ahead than everyone else until that section ended lol
Playing it rn as a euphonium
Respect for that horn rip
Lol
BEAUTIFUL!!!
How beautiful it is... . .Thank you so much. Greetings from Germany. 👍
Wow u transposed from D to Eb!! 😍
