No bro, Its probably because i applied in the tourist category and as i see the PU invitation letter is only required if you are applying through business category. However, i do know some of my friends and colleagues who applied this tourist visa same as i applied, and got approval (2 years touris visa) in one week’s time frame. One of the most recent ones that got approved was last week and he was a Pakistani too. Did you see it somewhere official that they are not giving tourists visas to Pakistanis?

Same passport holder. You should book some hotel in china, and present that booking to embassy and apply for tourist visa. This will solve your problem
