This is a good issue my only problem is... Didn't Jace already kill someone in the first issue? pretty sure he fry's a bad guy with spaceship engines to save his own life. Sooo whys he so torn about about Zorak when it saved the galaxy?

I enjoy reading Ice Cream Man from time to time, but I wish it had better art. It's always been rather stark and somewhat amateurish to me. The same is true for Lemire. Generally a good storyteller, though his art is rough. Though I can't blame him for wanting to do it himself, and control the whole experience. Love Geiger, Batman & Robin.

This is the first time that I have ever disagreed with one of your reviews. I thought Ice Cream Man #42 was absolutely terrible. I knew the direction the story was going as soon as I saw the "trigger warning" introduction. This book was a total cringe fest. The "writer" was using the "fact is stranger than fiction trope" to insert bs propaganda. The reveal of what was behind the HORROR doors caused me to roll my eyes so hard that they LITERALLY popped out of their sockets and rolled under the couch. (It's a good thing I vacuumed under there recently). Comics are a form of escapism. This didn't help me escape. This reminded me that this last election cycle gave me enough politics for the next 176 years. Ice Cream Man #42 was lazy writing gobbledygook trash. Now, with that being said, Nick is still the BEST comic reviewer on this platform!!! He knocks it out of the park every single week. I am a proud member of this channel. Its ok to disagree from time to time. Rocketfellers, Batman Full Moon, The Moon is Following an Flash Gordon were GREAT!

It's funny how Image Comic and Indie Comics are more interesting in stories than Marvel and DC but the stores don't carry them and focus more on DC and Marvel. I started buying Stand Still and the stores where I buy no longer carry them.

Nice reviews but I would rate the last issue of the sovereign arc for Wonder Woman a lot higher…taste I guess.. loved the ghost machine books too!

Pretty amazing! Hopefully, you can one day scan the pages and upload them on Archive. If I remember correctly, this mini comic is limited edition and only brought at conventions. This is just a suggestion because I love Daniel Warren Johnson and want to study his work.

Its kinda sad that when we see how bad they treat spiderman in the last runs that became normal to see him just as a loser when my favorite runs of the character its nothing like that.

as a Batman fan it looks like I'm going to have to check out Dark Age. I already have a handful of monthly Batman reads so I didn't pay much attention to this title but it does seem pretty cool.
