Making Cities Resilient 2030 (MCR2030) has mobilized hundreds of local governments, representing hundreds of million of people, committed to strengthening their disaster and climate resilience. A select few of these municipalities are recognized as Resilience Hubs - global leaders in disaster and climate risk reduction. The partnership has also mobilized international organizations, national governments, private sector enterprises, academic organizations, and NGOs. MCR2030 is a collaboration of unmatched expertise and experience in supporting greater urban resilience. The MCR2030 secretariat is supported by the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR) and is based in its Global Education & Training Institute/ Office for Northeast Asia, in Incheon, Republic of Korea.
