That was interesting. Haven't been there since the late 1970's. I wonder if they have that section called the "Petite Mall" there yet. It was a separate section dedicated to the lesser known , new, and niche shops. Yeah, lots of big (expensive) names there now, It's a wonder I saw a TJ Maxx bag.

I thought Queens had mostly side streets and avenues with houses like Westchester County. This looks more like the Bronx.

I was born and lived in Ridgewood till I got married in 1970 always watching any walks and videos love it and miss Myrtle Ave best shopping and if you can't find what you need and walk to Knickerbocker Ave ❤😊

This is the sight of the old Lalance-Grosjean Factory. It was the biggest employer and factor in bringing families to Woodhaven in late 1800s. At the time Ozone Park was part of Woodhaven. Later it developed as a separate neighborhood. I'm not sure when the factory closed, but believe it was in the early 1960s. I lived a few blocks from the site. My family moved in the late 1960s. Regretfully Ozone Park is not what it was in those days.
