@@ursusstv8822 Birds? Not unless they work as ground crew at the airport. The real reason is so ground personnel have a visual cue of a rotating turbine. It is a safety thing.
I believe this is an old Pan Am bird. Sexy beast and a JOY to fly. Looks like it has the Mod with the MD-80 Engines on 1 and 3. I Love it!!

No. It could either be an A330 or 767 (either is very likely) or maybe an A300 or A310 as those are the only twin engine aircraft that use the GE CF6 and are still in service.
