Helo ride up to Mendenhall Glacier near Juneau, AK. Our first excursion on a 7 day Alaskan cruise. Awesome trip. If one of your bucket list items is to walk on a glacier, this experience is second to none.

Return helicopter ride to the Juneau airport. The beautiful blue color seen at the crevices on the glacier comes from the refractive properties of the dense ice as sunlight hits it. I would recommend the glacier helicopter tour and walk... a must do on your stop in Juneau.

Late summer visit to Rocky Mountain National Park.
