Hi Dianna!! Glad you enjoyed you day at the processing Center...I did 27 boxes myself & was able to send 2 boxes of fillers...next year (I will definitely make more school supply fillers)!! 😊😊

So cool you got to volunteer!! I'm glad OCC processing center is at Ontario! I hope it's there permanently. So nice of you to bring so much filler. And that it was used immediatley! Love seeing your filler in the filler bins and shoeboxes. That's so funny about food. I don't think I took out one food/candy item while I was processing this year so the word is spreading. I agree with the ramen noodles, it's the thought that counts. In the Phillippines, poor families would share one ramen noodle package for a meal. Very cool you worked with Niki and her mom, AND her fillers also showed up at your table. Love that you and Niki finally met in person! And so nice Tim volunteered with you! And that he wants to do it again. He did the same as my husband and cartonized/scanned the shoeboxes. It does goes fast working at a processing center. I like the merch you got. I got the socks too! Thanks for sharing your processing center experience in Ontario, Diana! It looked like a lot of fun. I'm glad you finally got to process, I know you've been wanting to do that for a long time.

So cool that you had your fillers come through to your table! I took about 12 boxes of filler to the PC but did not see any of it. Some of Trish’s came through to our table, though 😁. Sounds like you had a great experience for your debut volunteer shift!

Thanks for stopping by my channel! My biggest takeaway was realizing the importance of packing fillers. If you can pack school supply fillers, I promise you they will be greatly appreciated and used in the shoeboxes. Some shoeboxes I processed had to be sent on with out any school supplies in them.

Hello Diana: I am so happy to hear that you were able to go to the processing center. I, too, went to that very same processing center on November 29/2024. Like you, I found it exhilarating. I, too, was at table number 3! It was such fun to be able to participate; God willing, I will certainly volunteer again. Thank you for the reminder about the fillers for school supplies. Also, I came across many boxes that had no toothbrushes or combs. Merry Christmas to you and your family.🌲🌲🌲

OK so here is my question...back the first week of November, when I heard the Ontario processing center was opening up, I tried to sign up volunteer online. However, it kept directions me to the Calgary center! Where did you sign up so I can work next year as Niki says it is done for this year????

I am a new small time packer, this was my second year, but I may do more filler as it may fit my space and budget more than doing more shoe boxes.

The stick on earrings are a great idea. Love the mini coloring book. I am personally nervous to send shoes because of the fit, I did send flip flops twice though. I love how personal and thoughtful your box is, down to every last detail!

Good idea to put the pre-sharpened pencils in the little envelope. This was a very complete and thoughtful box.

You're killing it with Sloth themes! I love that you used the Canadian OCC shoebox. Chill card was perfect to go with the sloth as you said. The sloth coloring book is perfect for this theme. I love what you did with the pencils in the small manila envelope. Beautiful necklace and I love that the stuffy is holding it for her. The stuffy looks so huggable! My favorite is the tin box with all the goodies inside. The soap looks so elegant. The mini sloth stuffy is so fun! Oh the long sleeve top screams Christmas, and I love all the Christmas graphics on it. Great deal too. So cool that the finger puppet craft has a sloth. So many activities for the girl to do - epecially the Christmas sweater ornaments. Great find with the sloth notebook. The tote is perfect.

After processing so many boxes my last five shifts that were just not that full, fun or personal… this box is an absolute pleasure to see! Sloths are my absolute favorite as I got to hold one in Honduras! The sloth stuffy has so much personality and the notebook just made me smile! Love her treasured sloth box tin. Hi Diana, This is a gorgeous box for Miss 5-9. I never thought of combining sloths with Christmas - so unique! I love how the sloth's sweater on the larger notebook, matches the one worn by the sloth on the tin. The small bouncy ball is the perfect gap filler. TFS!

I love this theme for an older girl! It's different and unique. I like that you made the box pretty for the girl. Same with me! The wrapping of the boxes is not my number 1 priority, however, I do try to make it look presentable. Very cool water bottle and I liked that you included tweezers. I'm sure a preteen/teen would love that! But so thoughtful of you to add it so she can use it to remove items from the water bottle. Oh, that flannel like top screams winter! She will so warm and cozy in it. And I love the colors in it. Great deal too! Also, thoughtful of you to add the tank top. The squishmellow is adorable. One of my favorite items is the soap. Just useful and I love that you were mindful of the smell. 🧼 I remember you were the first person I knew in OCC YT community that packed soap savers. Stop, LOVE the ornament!! So cute. She will love it.

The water bottle & the snowman plush are lovely ☺️ I love her music box & I wish I could smell that soap it sounds so nice! I love those popits that look like comets ☄️ and I love her shirt . Nice idea to include a few kitchen utensils! Never seen that before. I’m the same as you with decorating boxes but you did well with this one 😊I’m doing a Christmas themed box for 2025 watching this is getting me excited for it 😁 this one is great ❤

Her lid decoration is so pretty! Great idea with the tweezers! I always hesitate to buy the smaller mouth water bottles but with this idea they can work! Her fidget ball kind of looks like a snowball! ❄️☃️❄️I bought the Costco squishmallows this year. They are so cute. Her music box will be such a treasure. That might be her favorite item!
