Gréât How do you light set 10235 with motor ?
Since a a core requirement for this build was to not use a single battery, this was one of the biggest challanges in this build. I had to re-build the 10235 carousel from the ground up around a small slipring that the entire spinning structure could spin around. This allowed me to pull the tiny cables for the light in the middle-section (which can be seen at 01:02). I documented the re-build around the slipring with photos which I can upload.

Cheers! All electronics (motors, lights, servos, motion detectors etc) where controlled via 2 Raspberry Pi's. For the raindeer, I used a stepper motor and controller board together with some python scripts.

Hi, for sure! The various light kits used in this exhibit (that was pre-made) came mainly from LightTailing and Light My Bricks (their own kits). Thanks for watching and Merry Christmas!

Great work! What motorized element did you use for the RR Crossing? Such a good job. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks! For the Crossing, this was a design and idea of my own! I used the main crossing in set 10259 together with 2 PWM servos from geekservo. For the the automated logic, a small IR Beamer was attached to the track some distance before the RR crossing. All connected to a raspberry pi that registered the ir beam cut of from the train and controlled the Servos. Logic I wrote in python.
