Here is another video of the Vevor pro press doing its thing!
Using the Milwaukee m18 mega press jaws with the Vevor pro press.
Просмотров 1,2 тыс.2 месяца назад
I finally got to use the M18 mega press jaws from Milwaukee on my Vevor pro press. Like I said in this video, I tested for leaks after pressing all the fittings and there was zero leaks. I love this pro press because the results are the same as any other pro press and it cost less than the big named brands. #Vevor #ProPress #Milwaukee #M18Jaws #GasFittings

I just received the m18 mega press jaws from Milwaukee and I made this video to show anyone who is interested in the Vevor pro press if these jaws are able to fit the Vevor pro press. Let’s find out! #Vevor #VevorProPress #Milwaukee #M18MegaPressJaws #Plumbing

This is my second video of testing out the Vevor pro press with pressurized water. The water going into the home is around 60lbs. I am also using the Veiga propress fittings. So far so good 👌. #Vevor #VevorPropress #Testing #SecondTestVideo #VeigaFittings

This Vevor pro press is the real deal! I was real iffy about getting it because I haven’t seen much reviews but after testing it out, so far it’s great! Let’s see how this does in the long run. #Vevor #VevorProPress #Plumbing #Copper #NoSolderingNeeded #LevisPlumbingServices #LevisPlumbing #Bam!
Mini Hydro jet with converted pressure washer. I’m also using the Vevor drain camera.

Here is a video of a mini Hydro jet with a converted pressure washer. My customer had a backed up kitchen and washer drain line so I recommended to hydro jet rather than just snaking the drain line. #LevisPlumbing#MiniJet#VevorDrainCamera #CloggedDrain

How do you like that thing
@@weedbandz8559 so far it’s been great, I like it a lot.
I like the compact size and the portability of it. Looks super handy
How much you charge for that?
How's the tool holding up? im really curious cause im dying to get the pro press tool, so i might have to go with the vevor!
@@Antiquefirearms724 it’s still holding up really good. I used it yesterday with the rigid C1/V1 jaws for a tankless water heater install. I’ll be posting that video today.
I just purchased this used it for 6 presses of 3\4 copper fittings for water no leaks so far. Very happy with it, just a little heavy. Came a with 1/2to 2 inch copper press dies 2 batteries they do look like Makita style batteries. But I cannot verify. The manufacturer says it presses at 37n. Which is over 8000psi.
@@RockoRocko-rz7kx I agree with everything you are saying and yes you can use Makita batteries with the Vevor propress. Glad you got it it’s a really nice deal.
RLS jaws? which are compatible? Rigid?
@@donfrussell If the rls jaws from Milwaukee or Rigid fit on the Milwaukee m18 pro press, then yes they will fit on the Vevor pro press as well.
Milwaukee mega press jaws is use for Viega MegaPress fittings ?
How long until vevor wants you to send it in for calibration? I assume there's certain amount of times it will actuate before needing to be checked the right KNs of force range
@@TOOL_TECHNICAL after 30,000 crimps. It shows on the Vevor pro press how many times it’s been used. I don’t know if Vevor provides that service though.
Привет, это твой личный инструмент? Если да, то ты крут!
Hey bud I was wondering if my vevor press would work with those rigid jaws. Can you please tell me what rigid compact set I should get
Hows this this tool working out for you so far? I just ordered one for DIY projects and am a little nervous.
@@fasteddie5388 it’s working out perfect! For DIY you made the right choice but even if you bought them to use for work like me you would still have made the right choice.
@@levi5016 That's awesome. Thanks for the reply.
I read it will also take makita batteries. Don't know if it's true bit would be nice to know
@@christopherbeaulieu4942 yes that is correct!
Very nice piece of equipment, thanks for sharing!
Nice i just bought the same propress im a contractor but i do alot of plumbing
Let the work begin!
@@javierbramasco4020 let’s get it!
No leaks 🎉 awesome 👏 😎
BAM!
I have the tools and works great ,it’s heavy but does the work for best price ,,I think is fine to beginners,,once you make more money you can better brands
Exactly!
Bam!!
Will this work for hvac?
I haven’t done any research on the hvac side but I know that if any jaws are compatible with the Milwaukee m18 then you can definitely use those jaws on the Vevor pro press. Does that help?
I also heard you can use Makita batteries on the vevor propress
Yes that is true.
So big and heavy. Not for one hand work. No, not good.
Yes it is heavy but not unbearable. I use this pro press all the time and I highly recommend it to anyone who doesn’t want to pay $2,500 or $3,000 for one. I bought it for $900 which includes the jaws from 1/2inch to 2inch so yes it is good!
@@levi5016 thanks!
Amen
Yo those lyrics are deep!!!!
Looks like crap
Hope you don't have to contact their customer service chat only. No local address, no phone number. Their website is for shopping only. Company is based in Shanghai, China, they ship from the US. Purchased a KITCHEN RACK. No order confirmation. No invoice. Missing pieces. To obtain the Missing items I would gave take pictures of ALL items received even the booklet. Check out their reviews and ratings. Buyer be ware.
Why not use a mpt hose bibb and save a pipe joint?
Gooooo Levi!!!
what's the update on that vevor pro press it look a bit to long
Does vevor make jaws
Good question. I don’t know if they make the jaws but I do know that they do not sell them separately.
No, they do not. But it is cheaper to buy this entire kit than just the jaws from Ridgid or Milwaukee.
Are the Milwaukee megapress jaws made in the USA?
Yes
Thank you so much
You’re welcome!
This is cool for the price of the tool. I do have a vevor powered sander, but i wouldnt consider it reliable to use professionally over a quality tool. Give us an update if you have any issues or leaking fittings. Thanks for the video.
These fittings have been around since the late 80's in water , hvac and more. The first tools were hand operated , then corded , most of the failures have nothing to do with tools but bad prep. The Vevor tool is not as high quality as the m12 or others but it's way better than the older tools that did the job before. If a failure happens from using it 99.9% chance it's user error.
Hi what kind of camera equipment are you using?
It’s the Vevor sewer camera. It’s 165 ft and comes with a locator and sd card so you can record.
Awesome rap for Jesus, praise God.

Are you self employed, curious as to how your van is set up. I'm looking to break out on my own
I just saw this comment, yes I am self employed. The van came with a shelf already from the last owner and i put all my 10 foot pipes on there. I’m able to put my tools and snake under it too. As you see in the video I have Milwaukee packout boxes and I recently put in a gorlitz hydrojet in there and I still have a lot of room. It’s a Chevy express extended version. I eventually want a van where i can stand without crouching down but as for now this van is perfect.
So what happen with the leaks ? is there any ?
After recording this video I did check for leaks and there was none.
I thought the jaws had an octagon shaped hole in them ? Are these for crimping pex rings ?
The jaws in the video are not for pex rings but you can buy pex jaws from a different brand who sells them and put them on there.
The Milwaukee jaws in the video are for pressing black iron pipe and galvanized pipe.
@@user-wj6rj6yj1g Oh..thanks !
Would love to know and see if the rls/zoom lock hvacr jaws work in this. I would buy it tomorrow if they do
Me2
Anything that fits the full size Milwaukee tool will fit this.
You are clearly in an area that does not freeze...
In the good old sunny state of California! LA to be exact.
Another banger. I wonder if the angled Ridgid C1 jaws work on this.
That is a great question. I believe they do but I’m entirely sure. I’m definitely going to buy them but in the future.
Yes, the ridgid c1/v1 kit works with this. Make sure you use the v1 for this full size tool and the c1 for the compact m12 tool.
Hi can you please show the parts and fitting you use for hydro jetting set up ? Thanks!
Limited-time deal: WEST BAY 150FT Sewer Jetter Kit for Pressure Washer, 5800PSI Drain Cleaner Hose 1/4 Inch NPT, Corner, Rotating and Button Nose Sewer Jetting Nozzle Waterproof Tape Pearl Corsage Pin with 2Pcs Spanner a.co/d/0es3HIE
I bought this kit on Amazon but the steel braided hose that you see in the video I bought separately at a hydrojet shop. The hose was the most expensive part.
thanks for this info. I heard after a certain time, you need to calibrate the tool, what's that about?
After 30,000 crimps then you have to get it calibrated but to be honest I haven’t seen anything on Vevor saying that they offer that service.
You have to calibrate all press tools of all brands, some advertise 30k presses some 100k.
@@user-wj6rj6yj1g what's the process? Send back to manufacturer?
@@obakpo88 Yes, but not this one. They offer replacements if broken within a year.
looks heavy
It’s Heavier than the Milwaukee m18.
It is heavy, but it’s also 1/4 of the price of Milwaukee.
Mind doing a video with the same setup but taking the orings out of the fittings. Curios how well the pressing heads are made. Higher end kits have videos online of pipes still sealing without rings
Yo yo
Does the head rotate
No the head does not rotate
It rotates on the pistol type model of this same tool. Also the motor on the pistol style is brushless.
Thank u sir been waiting for input on this one
I did as much research as I could before getting one and all I can say is that I made the right choice.
@@levi5016 Yeah, pro press tools are way too much money. Seems like there is no way to recalibrate this after the 10k or 30k presses. Not sure which is correct. But after that much, I'm guessing you got your moneys worth. 1/2 to 1/3 the price of RIDGID is worth.
The one thing you don't want to hear while around this tool is "TITTY TWISTER!"
Twist-Off
Twist and shout!
Are they going to make a larger model? Looks pretty light.😂
I know right 😂
That's the 60 pounder. Website said there coming out with the 120. For gym use after or during work
