First impressions. Winmau Blade 6 Carbon and MVG Exact darts

Just a quick video showing the first use of the Winmau Blade 6 Carbon board. I have actually used this for some time now and it is proving to be a good hard wearing board. At the time I made this video, there was some doubt as to whether it would work with the superb Scolia system due to the laser cut number ring - however it has been flawless. Also I used the MVG Exact darts for the first time. Nice darts.

These are the new Nick Kenny darts from Darts Unique. They are a 90% tungsten dart and are 21g in weight. They are a level 2 grip but the shape of the darts affords plentiful grip for the rear gripper as the rear taper lends itself to that use. They are well made, nicely presented and well balanced.

These are 23g darts from Quantum. I have to say that the quality of these darts easily matches many much more expensive brands. They weighed within one hundredth of a gram of each other - superb value for money and a very nice dart to use. A real bargain at the price!

These are part of the Night hunter range from One80. They have a VHD coating (although I keep calling it PVD lol) and they are very well made and presented. They are cheaper than the usual One80 darts so they are quite a bargain as you get the usual One80 quality for less money.

Just something we try in our local league for a laugh. Actually helps me not to snatch the last dart. Smooth out your first 2 darts and then look away for the third. You will miss lots but is great when they actually go in!!

It is their version of the traditional 'Halve it' game. they have included some interesting targets into the routine and it is a very challenging game. it is surprising how some of the targets that you may think are simple become more difficult because of he pressure you put yourself under. Good practice!!
