Great video, i have been using it for an AI app i have been working on that you can send the audio of a meeting and it will produce the follow Attendees: - Rita (Managing Director) - Jason Somerville (Project and Program Manager for Marketing) - Lucy Strokes (PA to Retail) - Sue Carpenter (Sales Director) - Julian Geddes (HR Manager) Agenda Items: 1. Apologies for Absence 2. Car Parking Issues 3. Staff Morale 4. IT Issues 5. Financial Report 6. Car spaces. Is there an error here? The chairperson says there are "only 5 spaces that belong to us" then later says 4 spaces are to be allocated as priority parking (for the sales team, I believe), then 3 for visitors and 2 to be allocated to Sue and Jason. So, 9 spaces in total?

Guys, if you think this meeting is stupid you're right, because IT IS. That's the idea xD Besides minute-taking, it can also be used for different training topics too: meeting training, professionalism training, manager competencies training, etc.

For anyone who is using this to learn minute-taking, this is roughly how I would put them into minutes. I would put headings either underlined, or in bold, and actions in bold so they stand out. (Not much formatting can be done in this comments section though). Hope it helps. Videos like this are great, but I thought this might help for those who have no idea what the minutes might look like afterwards. Boardroom Meeting - Date & Time Attendees: Rita, Managing Director; Jason Somerville, Project Manager for Marketing; Lucy Strokes, PA; Apologies: Gary Cope, Carl Madden, Joey Ballen Weasley, Janet Bowers Agenda: - Introductions and Apologies - Matters arising/Previous Minutes - Car Parking - Staff Morale - IT Issues - Finance Report - AOB Introductions and Apologies - Frank Lyons is running late. Matters Arising / Previous Minutes - All agreed no matters arising. Car Parking - Due to a new company moving in there has been a problem with car parking. - There are 5 spaces belonging to the company. - Those who use cars for work will be given priority, e.g. Sales Team. - Three spaces will be allocated to visitors or prospective clients. - Sue and Jason will be allocated the 2 remaining spaces, with Jason parking closest to the garages. - Sue will coordinate letting the next priority member know if anyone is off sick. Action 1: Jason to get a list of names for allocated parking spaces to circulate to everyone and put name signs on those allocated to staff. Staff Morale - There is concern in some departments there is low staff morale following new changes introduced. - These include the new IT system, understanding why people have left, why there’s been restructuring and whether their jobs are safe. - Sales figures are at their lowest since February due to absences in the Sales Team. - The recent introduction of new software has caused issues due to lack of training. It slows them down and demotivates people. - An anonymous questionnaire was circulated highlighting these issues including a lack of effective appraisals. - A team day out is suggested with one of the following activities: go-karting, darts, party Pilates or awards night. Action 2: All the e-mail Rita with 4 ideas of activities in the next two days to then be circulated and voted on companywide. Action 3: Rita, Clive and Frank to have a meeting in the next two weeks to discuss the issues with training before the next meeting. Rita will confirm the date with Frank once known. IT Issues - IT issues on Friday were caused by a power cut. Action 4: Accounts to contact the electricity supplier and pay the bill to avoid this happening again in the future. Finance Report - Gary has provided a financial report summary. - The balance sheets show contract sales are doing well. - There has been a loss in revenue in handset sales abroad. - Jason reviews the data as 11, not 52 or 21. - The company is in the black, but down since last year. AOB - Office cleanliness issues, plates not being washed up and the shower room not being maintained. Action 5: Cleanliness to be added as an agenda item to the next meeting.

I totally agree with your interpretation, however I am concerned about most of videos I’ve seen as they categorize the D1 as low competence and low commitment. Do you know why does this misconception exist? Why are there so many videos mistakenly taking the D1 as D2?
