My deepest sympathy on your loss of such a beautiful GSD. They just dont live long enough. Mine was 12 and his best friend was my boy cat, who lived to 17. Poor guy was absolutely bereft without his dog friend. I dont think he ever got over it. This was a wonderful sharing of your obviously well loved pupper. I hope your heart heals to the point where you can adopt another dog and give it the same great canine life you gave Ruby.. Big sympathy hug from an older gal who knows all too well how hard it is to say good bye.

I am SO VERY sorry for your loss!! Only 10 years? Did something happen? It didn't seem like you and your wife were expecting this sad turn of events. These sweet dogs are so hard to lose and you never have them long enough do you? My heart goes out to you and your family. We know all too well how hard it is losing them. 💔🐕‍🦺😢

I know I'm a little late commenting on this video. But I have seen previous hikers and current hikers who have carried or planned to carry a nighttime water bottle for relieving yourself in tent. Just don't confuse them 😉
