Hearing 2001's Objection theme at the start of this scene really hits, up until Dual Destinies, AA 4 made it clear that the 2001 Objection was supposed to be Phoenix's Objection theme and many people consider 2004's Objection theme to be Mia's, I know Cornered makes a return even in the original game but damn do I love 2001's Objection theme, in T & T with how much you swap between characters I think this would have been the ideal game to bring it back. Let Mia and Edgeworth have 2004's Objection or something, I like 2004's Objection theme but 2001 is just a classic you know?

The Fey family is pretty terrible, all things considered. The only good members seemed to get kicked out (Misty, Iris - even Misty isn't exactly the best person but at least she didn't really DO anything) or otherwise be caught up in the drama and scheming of the bad ones (Maya and Pearl) and Mia left of her own accord because the Fey power struggle was something she coming from a mile away and wanted no part of.

Literally JUST finished the game maybe an hour or less ago. Love these two. Searched up their ship stuff and it's so wholesome! Ahhhh! They're so amazing together! And then I was immediately shot down when I read she doesn't appear ever again. God. Damn. It.

It's after seeying this scene (around 2 years ago) that i decided to play ace attorney 2 and 3 after 1. And i don't regret it. (Even if i got kinda spoiled..)

I'm as big a fan of the whole gay lawyers thing as the next guy. I mean there is a very homoerotic energy between Phoenix and Edgeworth. It's a fun idea. But I know it is more of a meme than anything. In reality, what I hope is that in the next Ace Attormey we get something showing Nick and Iris are together. Whether the way it was portrayed in the game or in the anime, this scene is just so sweet. She went through so much to try to protect Phoenix cause she cared about him. In return she was subjected to so much pain by Dahlia. Another person Dahlia hurt. I want them to get their pay off to this. Iris deserves to be happy after everything and to be with Phoenix as herself, with no strings attached. She doesn't even have to be a regular member of the cast or out of prison. Just have Nick visitng her in the detention center or something.

I hate how they went through all this trouble to make phoenix reunite with his former lover JUST FOR HER TO NEVER APPEAR AGAIN

if I recall correctly it was iris father who took her away from the fey family stuff when things didn't work out with her mother that must have been a blessing from the gods because Iris didn't have to get too deeply involved in all that ugly stuff with her mothers jealousy she was able to remain pure thought what's even more amazing is how pearl remained pure despite being so deep in all of this we can at least thank maya for that

People that ship edgeworth and phoenix are mad with this one lol

I will be legitimately upset if these two don't have a happy ending; even if they only have one child, that would be fine with me, but I really want them to be happy.

So quick question, did Iris dye her hair red for 8 months to keep up the illusion that she was Dahlia, or is their hair color only different for us so that we can tell which one is which except when it wasn’t.

It's still kinda crazy just what a psycho Dahlia was. She was no more than 19 when Mia finally nailed her and at that point 3 people were dead and one was in a coma. Out of the entire trilogy she definitely felt like a final boss that just wouldn't die. Hell she's got one of the best villain breakdowns ever.

I love shipping Wrightworth, like many fans. But, to be honest, after everything Iris has been through in her life, she deserves to date and marry the man (Phoenix Wright) she loves.

An idea of mine: Shortly after the events of ‘Spirit Of Justice’ (including Turnabout Time Traveler), Iris was finally released from prison and she reunited with Phoenix. The two later got married (all their families, relatives, friends and allies were invited to their wedding), and Iris becomes Trucy’s mother.

As much as people say that Iris needs to return in future games and be with Phoenix, that it wouldn't work because everything would leave Phoenix traumatized, or that Edgeworth is the only possible choice for whatever reason, I think Iris would still work to some degree. People who say it wouldn't work most likely see it as "any normal person wouldn't want to be with someone who lied to them and took part in these awful events." But Phoenix still trusted her up until the last case of the trilogy, when she confessed and Phoenix said "You really are the person i always thought you were. Even after Dahlia was found guilty, I still believed in you.", which means that he still sees her as a good person, not just some liar. And in the credits of T&T, Iris says she's happy that Phoenix would visit her and that he would only look at her (until Pearl smacked him and gave him a nosebleed), which means that even tho everything might have left Phoenix traumatized, he still had at least a shred of his feelings for her and he most likely visited her often off-screen, maybe even when he got disbarred. But if she makes a return, I want to see some character development, not just "oh, I want her to return and be with Phoenix!". Like how Phoenix would react after she gets released, how she would assist in the cases or whether she would treat Pearl and Maya as family and vice versa. Hell, even whether Trucy would see her as a mother, if you go by them managing to still have feelings for each other.

All I want is for her to come back and be Pheonix's wife and Trucy's new mother.

I hope one day if she’s released, Phoenix will reunite with her.
